I reached 4k reads!!! Yay!!! So here is a chapter I have been dying to write since the very beginning. A Lucien and Elaine chapter. Yes people here it is. The ship that for me was so unexpected. Much like most of ACOMAF, note that this is a fluff chapter and in no way connected to my fanfic.

I had lost a love a long time ago, one that I had given everything for.
Love is the rarest thing that you can find, and so when I did, I let myself have it.
And then when it was taken, and beaten till death.
Right before my very own eyes.
And all that was keft was the ghost of it in me.
So I stripped myself of all feeling, knowing that I'll never have that again.
Because you can only have a love like that once.

Elaine was ripped from my side and then I feel my face flush and bones grow cold as the words fell from my lips without me thinking twice about them.
"You're my mate."
And the only thing I could see was her as Nesta roared at me, her voice enveloping the room.
"She is no such thing." Nesta says and shoves me back, and I don't move and inch. My face pale as I stare at Elaine. My eyes catch on the metal ring on her finger and I feel myself frown at it.
And she'll never love me.

Everything happened so fast, it was only a moment later that Feyre and the High Lord of the Night Court thrash on the floor as their bond breaks.
Snapping in two.
As my arm curls around Elaine in an instant Morrigan winnows to me, slams her palm into my chest releasing Elaine as I fall back, my roar shaking the halls. And then she's gone.
Disappearing with the smoke and ash and dust, to the Night Court.
I let out a scream as I crawl back towards them, swearing as I begin to stand, stumbling on my feet.
I'm shaking my head over and over again.
Panting I whirl towards them.
"Get her back," I snarl at Tamlin over the ranting of the King.
