Chapter 12: Threats

Joeys POV

*Flashback*

I was waking into school and Ricky pushed me up against some kids locker

Joey: Ricky what are you doi-

He cut me off

Ricky: Look Joey, I don't care if you love Shane, you are to never talk to him again!

Joey: And why should I listen to you?

He smirked

Ricky: Because ill do worse than this

He cut my cheek with a pocket knife. It hurt like a bitch but I had to hold back t tears

Joey: W-Why are you doing this?

Ricky: *whispers* because I love Shane dumbass

He then walked away leaving me to cry. I ran to the bathroom to prevent embarrassing myself

All day I knew I was hurting Shane by ignoring him but I'm terrified of Ricky.

Shane walks into class late and I shoot my head down as soon as I see him

Mr.Dawson, you're la-" K could tell he was aggravated and didn't care what she had to say

"Yeah yeah, just give me the detention" she had a surprised look on her face before he went to sit down...as far away from me as possible.

Great he hates me.

After class I see Luke and Shane talking. I decided to listen in because its the next best thing to talking directly to him

Oh, I didn't know he told you, he's like totally in love with you" Thanks Luke. Shane only knew I had a crush

"Was"

Okay good he isn't weirded out

"You don't know that.." I wish I could just tell Shane.

"He wouldn't even look at me!" Shane starts to cry and Luke hugs him.

Did I really hurt him that much?

"Shhh Shane it's okay"

"I was gonna tell him I love him"

Did I hear him correctly!?!

"What?"

"I love him, I was gonna tell him but I don't know anymore."

I SCREWED UP. SHANE LOVED ME AND NOW HE HATES ME.

I'm such a fuck up.

"Shane I'm sorry.."

I am too Shane. Shane I'm so sorry, but I'm also scared so I don't know what to do.

*end of flashback*

I see Ricky again and try to run but he catches up to me.

Ricky: Nice job ignoring Shane today!

Joey: He doesn't even like me Ricky! Why do you care?

Ricky: You're a threat! And after tonight he'll be mine

Joey: Can I talk to him then

He smacks me

Ricky: No you dumbass! You'll always be a threat

Joey: whatever

Ricky's POV

Tonight Shane will be mine!

I've always knew Shane had a crush on me, but the question was, is it too late?

Either way, I needed to get Joey out of the picture to prevent Shane from falling for him!

Joeys POV

I need help. But it can't be someone who will confront Ricky because then ill be a goner.

Lisa! She's his best friend and I'm sure she'll help.

I decided to text her

/Texting/

Joey: Hey Lisa!

Lisa: Joey! what's up?

Joey: I need your help! Can you meet me at my house?

Lisa: Yeah sure! Be there in 10.
