Chapter 6

It was going on midnight and my father wasn't back so I decided to pack Jordan a bag so he can spend some time with me plus I didn't want to be in my house alone. "You ready to go sleepy face he smiled I grabbed his Spiderman duffle bag and we walked out the house. We walked up to my car and I opened the back seat for him and strapped him in next to his bag of stuff I text my dad and told him Jordan was with me and drove off to my house.

I laid Jordan down in my bed and I heard someone at the door I grabbed my gun that was locked in my drawer. I headed downstairs and fixed up the gun how my father showed me I unlocked the door and held the gun out towards the door. "Its open I yelled the door opened and Monty walked in. "Damn hey ..Hey mama it's just me! I lowered my gun and chuckled. "Monty you almost got your head blown off..what are you doing here this late? I asked while putting the safety lock back on the gun and put it in my back pocket. " I came here to check on you since you ain't answer your phone like I told you to. "Sorry Monty I had to get Jordan takin care of he was up waiting to midnight waiting until my father came home so I told him he could come over with me. "Awe ok why it's so quiet and where is Miya? She went to New York with Darren? "Damn I didn't know they were gettin serious like that but Darren he's a good dude very loyal just know your girl is in good hands. "Well since you here I was going to make me a strawberry shake did you want one? "Yea I'm down for one he said while closing the door I put in the security code and we both walked into the huge kitchen I took out the blender,the ice cream, milk and ice I also decided to cut up some real strawberries. It took me 6 minutes to make but once I poured it into a big glass cup it was worth it. "Mmm Dia this is good I bet you taste just like this.. sweet. I smiled and sat next to him on the bar stool , it's been awhile since me and him just talked either I was to busy or he was to busy. "So Monty how you been I asked while sipping my shake . "Honestly I been ok just been dealing with my baby mama she's tellin me she can't take care of my daughter anymore because she's trying to become a model and the baby is just in her way. "I just wished she would of told me this before my daughter but don't get me wrong Dia I love my baby she brings joy to my heart she makes me happy for me to be so hard and mean sometimes but looking at Malaya she brings the softness outta me and I'm not letting just anybody watch her. "What about your other baby mama's can they watch her? Monty sat up and looked at me sideways like I just stepped on his shoes. "Who told you I had other baby mama's? I bit down on my bottom lip I felted bad for even asking that question. "Was it Krista I nodded my head but he shook his." I'm hurt you would listen to her you should of just asked me but anyway no I don't I have one baby mama who I used to love and I have one daughter who is 4years old. "I'm sorry I thought that way I should of asked you but honestly I didn't care about that Monty. "You are a good person you have a big heart Monty I never had a man care so much for me like you do. "If you need me to watch her I would love to Monty free of charge too, "Naw you don't have to do that at all Dia she is my responsibility ..Monty im not asking I'm telling you what I'm going to do now drink up before it gets warm. He gave me a warm smile and gave me a hug an we both continued our shake talking.
