Just as I take the last drink of my water the door opens. A tall boy with brown hair walks in. He gives me a small smile before sitting down in the chair at the end of my bed.
"I heard what happened."
I just nod as I study his face. I feel like I've seen him before but I'm not sure where.
He clear his throat before talking again," I'm Josh, by the way."
Josh. Maybe this is the Josh my mom has been telling me about.
"I think my mom as been telling me about you."
"What all has she said?"
"That you are my best friend, boyfriend, and the father of my child. I still don't understand how I'm pregnant."
His eyes look glassy and when he opens his mouth to speak his voice cracks. He clears his throat," She didn't tell me you were pregnant. How many months?"
"The doctor said about 3 months."
Tears start falling down his face. He looks at me then gets up and walks out the door.

I'm finally released from the hospital. My mom thinks it's a good idea for me to come home for a while. So we're on our way to Kentucky.
A few hours later, we pull into a driveway.
"Where are we," I ask as I look over at her.
She gives a sad look and says," Home."
I get out of the car and slowly walk to the front door. I ring the doorbell and the door opens. A boy, a few years older than me, is standing there.
"You do know that you don't have to ring the doorbell to your own house, right?"
"Uhm, I wasn't sure what to do."
He moves out of the way to let me in. I walk in and look around.
"I'm your brother, Cody, by the way," He says before walking into another room.
I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn around.
"Your dad has missed you so much. Follow me."
She walks into the same room as Cody did. I hesitate then walk into the room. My mom is sitting next to a man, my dad I guess, and Cody is sitting across from them. They all look at me and smile. My dad gets up and walk over to me. He pulls me into a hug. I awkwardly hug back.
He pulls away after 5 minutes and smiles," You must be tired from the long trip back home. Why don't you go get some rest."
I nod then start to walk out of room when I realize that I don't know where my room is.
"Where's my room?"
My dad burst into tears and Cody puts his head down. My mom gets up and motions for me to follow her.
She opens my door and walks in. I walk in and look around.
"We got all your stuff from your dorm already. It's all put up."
"Okay, thank you."
"You just get some rest now. I'll be in the living room if you need me."
She walks out and shuts the door. I walk over to my bed and lay down. I guess some rest wouldn't hurt.
