AUTHOR'S NOTE!!
It took me about two days to write this chapter lol. Who knew writing this much could be so exhausting?? lol. Thank you, everyone reading, I truly appreciate it. The songs I listened to while writing this were, Cough Syrup by Young the Giant, Heartbeat by Childish Gambino, and Strings by Young the Giant. I know they don't relate well to the story but odd things inspire me, what can I say?!?! lol. Read on and be sure to comment and vote if you like :) :-*

I woke up at 6 o’clock, unable to sleep another wink. Not only did the dream keep me twisting and turning all night, just knowing that Alex was coming in a matter of hours made my thoughts race.
I paced around the house and tried to stifle the flow of thoughts pouring in from every which way.
What should I wear? When should I tell her? Should I flip my hair? How should I tell her?
To stop myself from going insane, I walked out back into the small porch area and removed all of my clothes.
Then I stepped off the porch and shifted into my other form. My thoughts were smaller then. It’s hard to describe it. It’s like everything’s easier to think about because everything seems much less important. However, one factor’s importance didn’t fade one bit. Alex.
Thinking her name excited me and as I made my way out into the woods I let out a bark of delight.
She was so beautiful, so sweet, so cute. I wanted her in the worst way: in every way.
I wanted her in the mornings, for breakfast, I wanted her in the afternoon, for a snack, and I wanted her at dinner for dessert. I licked my lips and then let my tongue loll out the side of my mouth as I picked up my pace and began to run towards the familiar sound of running water. A quick swim before seeing her would do me some good, hopefully the water was cold, though.
Of course it almost never gets cold in the South. Maybe during winter, but even their winters can be steamy.
Distracting myself was easier than I thought. I was beginning to think much more clearly. If my estimations were correct, I had approximately 2 and a half hours before I got to see Alex. The thought of her made my heart start to race again.
I ran off into the forest, hoping to cool down before our encounter. Of course I had no doubt that seeing her or being near her would warm me up, it couldn’t hurt.
I was very close to the water when a smell so strong that I turned in the direction opposite of the stream hit my nose, and I took off to find it. It was like a warm, desirable… woman?
I got closer to the scent and slowed, cautiously stepping so as not to disturb the female. It was a wolf, she was in the center of a clearing licking her paws. She was beautiful. Nothing compared to my Alex, but her fur was a light grey, and the scent that was wafting off of her was so intense I longed to be in my human form. I suddenly recognized the smell. She was in heat. Wolves can’t resist a female in heat, mated or not. But added to that, I hadn’t claimed or marked Alex yet, so my desire for other woman was still present.
I stepped forward and grunted so that she heard me. She sat up and looked in my direction. She let out a huff and began walking towards me. Halfway, she shifted into her human, naked self. She was definitely sexy, that was sure. But still, nothing compared to Alex.
I, too, shifted and met her in the middle. I didn’t waste time, my wolf wouldn’t allow it. This wasn’t something I necessarily wanted to do. But it was something that nature, and my inner beast demanded. She put her head down in submission and allowed me to pick her up and lay her down.
