I tightened my grip, and I lost control,my mind is spinning, and that's all I know.
I need time to wrap my head around things,
to just listen in as the blue bird sings.
Take away the filter on my camera,
I wish to see what life is full of.
The control I sought was pointless,
it won't let me discover what life is.
If I try to change what is fated,
my efforts would then be wasted.
If I don't want my world to crumble,
I should allow myself to live more humble.
If I want this world to be filled with love,
I must first know what love is made of.
I will hold onto what is dearest,
my vision will then be at its clearest.
If any problem should arise,
I will calmly bring it down to size.
