Smart as I may be, my mind is also jaded.
My memory, it is very faded.
Thoughts in my head race constantly.
This endless monologue is always haunting me.
My ability to perceive is inconsistent.
Sometimes I am certainly here, sometimes I am distant.
My voice does not often make a sound,
as if I am 6 feet below the ground.
The way I view time is very distorted,
it must be why my memory is contorted.
