"For goodness sake."
That was the first thing that popped out of Miss Peregrine's mouth.
She frowned, but kept calm.
"Hugh, what do you mean by everything?"
"Uh, well, you know, about her, uh, 'problem'." he stuttered.
Miss peregrine raised her eyebrows, leaned forward in her seat and narrowed her eyes.
"Now, you do understand that you must never, ever mention this to anyone without my permission Hugh?"
"Yes Miss Peregrine."
The headmistress sat back up in her chair.
"Good, now off you go."
As Hugh walked into the parlour, his head was occupied by Nevaeh, so evidently he was tackled by the twins,
"Uh, stop it you guys! " he squealed as they crushed him into a hug.
"Calm down Hugh!" Giggled Fiona as she pulled the twins off of him, "They only wan't to play with you."
With a scowl on his face Hugh walked out of the room, bumping into a surprisingly clothed Millard, just missing the small, sympathetic glance thrown his way by Fiona as he went up the stairs.
