"Hadvar, was that his name?"

"Another refugee? Gods really have abandoned your people, dark elf." Hadvar says before turning to his captain. "Captain, what do we do? She's not on the list."

"Forget the list, she goes to the block."

"By your orders, Captain. I'm sorry, I'll make sure to send your remains back to Morrowind."

I sigh, thinking 'there's none of my family left for that to matter' and walked over to the others, not listening as they talked. That's when it happened. The moment I would never forget. That first roar. I looked around as the Imperials thought little of it and executed one of the stormcloak soldiers. Then I heard.

"Next, the Dark Elf!"

I hesitated. This is the end, I thought. Then I heard the roar again.

"There it is again. Did you hear that?" Hadvar asked

"I said, next prisoner!" The captain says

"To the block, prisoner. Nice and easy."

I went up to the block, looking at a blonde nord watching, before I was pushed down onto it. I watched the Head's men lift his ax before, this creature, flying overhead came into view.

"What in Oblivion is that?!" The General yelled.

"Sentries! What do you see?" The captain asked.

The creature landed on the tower.

"MOTHER OF MORROWIND!!" I yelled.

Soldiers yelled dragon and stuff like that as the dragon roared and meteors started falling from the sky. The head's men was taken down. I got to my feet.

"Hey, dark elf. Get up! Come on, the gods won't give us another chance!" Ralof says.

We ran into a tower. Ulfric was there. He and Ralof started talking and the creature blasted through a wall and killed a soldier. I ended up jumping from this hole to the now ruined inn from this tower and ran through this destroyed maze of a town, getting over to the keep with the help of Hadvar. Here I saw Ralof, who had helping while trying to find a way out. He and Hadvar yelled at each other and then ran to two different doors in the keep. I shot for the door Hadvar went in and got in.

I almost right away fell to my knees catching my breath. Hadvar was at my side.

"You okay prisoner?" he asked

"Just, *Huff* out of breath.." I say

"You're lucky that's all. That thing was a dragon, we need to escape and warn someone. Come on, let me get those bindings off of you." He says and cuts the bindings off my hands

"Thank you." I say.

"No trouble, now find some gear." Hadvar says and stands up, helping me up too. I find some imperial armor and an iron sword. We then go to where Ralof entered and found 2 stormcloak soldiers. I used my new sword and used the fire spell my father taught me and we killed them.

We continued going through the place, killing stormcloaks. After saving the torturer and his apprentice, I noticed a book with the imperial logo on it. I grabbed it and looked at the title. The Book of the Dragonborn. I decided to read it later and took it. After fighting off more Stormcloaks, Hadvar and I made it out. We saw the dragon flying away. Afterwards, Hadvar told me about his uncle in Riverwood, I agreed to go down there with him and find his uncle.
