Author's Note: I know this is really short and all but I'm trying to get to a certain point in the story and I'm kinda struggling to do so. Anyway, I hope you like what I did so far!

The Hunter's killed 8 of the student's at the school, and they only targeted the school. Turns out this town had bigger problems then witches. One thing I didn't get was how Angel was okay after being stabbed? I'd have to talk to him about it.
That night mom sat me down on the couch. She heard about the attack and she wanted to tell me about how we are related to magic.
"Misty, you must have a lot of questions. Let me see, your Aunt Maggie has always been... different." I interrupted her. "Mom I know. She was a witch. Why aren't you?" She sighed. "So I wasn't gifted with the powers and grandma was also a witch. It went to my sister and skipped me then it probably skipped you. How did you know she was a witch?" I couldn't let her know that her only daughter was a witch so I lied. "Well, because she came here according to the kids and was banished and I know witches are bad so yeah." Mom looked reviled. "So do you have any, um, powers?" I decided to use the power I had written down in class. "Yeah, the power to use air and wind I discovered it in class." Mom knew it might be related to witches but didn't care, as long as I didn't tell anyone. After assuring her I was okay I went to my bedroom.
I heard a thump on my window and was shocked to see Angel sitting there. I went over to the window and opened it. "Angel." He nodded. "Hey." My stomach was filled with butterflies. "Um, come in." I said. Ugh I am so awkward. He shock his head and just stood at the window. "Listen, about today." Oh no he's going to talk about the kiss and how he doesn't want to be more than friends, and then he talked.
"Misty, I need to be completely honest with you right now." He paused and sighed. "I really like you," Come on no buts please, "But, who I am, the way I am. It's, not going to work." My body tensed. But then I leaned in. "It's because of me." He looked shocked. "No! Not at all! See Misty I wanna, see you more but I can't." I looked at the ground and when I looked up he was gone.
I curled in my bed and I let the tears fall. I was really hoping he and I, I was really hoping.
