Some, training? Chapter 24

AUTHORS NOTE: I'm sorry, it's been a year since I published. (hahahahahahahaha, its been like a month) 
I know poor sense of humour, anyway, enjoy the first chapter of 2017!
And sorry for the lack of updates, I've had a very busy January!

My body was still kind of sore from the firewall thing. 

It's been a week. 

And yet, Avery won't let it go. Once they convinced me I was fine they just started to teasingly make fun of me! 

Yay, friendship. 

"Alright Misty, after that firewall incident-" Angel started causing Avery to giggle a little. 

"It's been a week! Let it goooooooo!" I cried out stressing the o. 

"We would, but, we have to train you so that you could possibly be able to do something about it. Which means you need to control your powers and learn how to fight with Ash." 

I sighed. "Do I gotta?" He walked up to me and kissed my forehead. "Yup." 

Yay.

"Yes Misty! Just shoot it out. Block it! Grab the sword! Hit him, good and-" BANG! Mike fell to the floor. I set the sword down and let myself take in a few deep breaths. That was exhilarating. Here's a rundown: 
After doing some drills Mike said he needed a training partner and I gladly decided to help him. It started easy, hand to hand combat. I worked on that with Angel, I men I worked on blocking the hits with Angel because I didn't have the ability to hit on my own. Then I shot out wind and water combined, I've also been working on that skill these past few days, then I knocked him down. He kicked me down and reached to hit me or at least keep me down but I blocked it and grabbed the sword close to me, I hit him on the head with the back of it and he grabbed his own sword and then we started to duel, but it only lasted a couple of seconds because using my sword I knocked him down and he fell, before Angel could finish his instructions that I wasn't really listening to.  
Back to the being tired part. 
Angel looked at me a smile on his face. 

"You beat Mike!" He cried out causing me to think back to what happened again. 

"I actually did." He smiled and swopped me in a hug and quickly kissing me. "You've gone so far. We should all go for lunch." He said, kind of quickly and awkwardly. 

"What's so scary about that? C'mon lets go." I whispered in his ear and he let out a sigh of relief. I giggled a little and we walked out together. Mike was greeted by Avery and they were having a very interesting conversation. Smiling and laughing they were being nice and playful having a very happy moment. I smiled. 

I so ship it. 

Angel led me out and we went to the stairs ad head out, excited to enjoy a very delicious meal at my favourite sandwich place, I think we are going there. Angel likes it too. At least I think he does.
