Back Chapter 20

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Sorry I haven't updated for awhile, again. I promise to get back on track somehow! Also this is really short cause I just tried to get an update on a short notice, I will try to make the other one longer I promise! Have a good day and enjoy!

Today's classes were boring, until we made it to practise.

"Alright class. You all need to master your power, and dig into what gives you this power." My favourite teacher Miss. Alina said. "Every person in this room has a lot of power, and everyone has one key. You have a strong point, usually passed down through the centuries, a power that sets you apart. However, you all of you, have a magical core. This means you can master more than one power." We looked at her, confused. I don't think any of us have ever heard of mustering another persons power.

Sabrina called her our on it. "Um, Miss. Alina. Thats impossible. God, I so want out of this class." She murmmered to one of her friends. I laughed at her, silently and more of a snort. She turned around to face me, an expression of pure hatred on her face.

"You got something to say, Misty?" She said like a threat. I scoffed. "Yeah actually-actually never mind. You wouldn't understand." Her eyes widened and she opened her mouth to talk but Miss. Alina stopped her.

"Misty! Sabrina! That is quiet enough. Like you said Sabrina, it could be impossible. But it isn't. Lets look at it this way. My key, my power is fire." Fire? I thought to myself. Maybe she could teach my something.

"I love it, its easy to control," she looked down and laughed at her self and mumbled sometimes, to herself. "its fun, and helpful. I can create it," She said and snapped. Suddenly there was a kindle to the fire in her hands. "And I can take it away." It was gone as soon as she waved her hands. "And it doesn't hurt me. I can do it extremely easily, and I started to test myself. But you can see that another time. This shows I mastered my power. Now I dig deep to the core of my magic, and I'll use Gwen as an inspiration. Lightning."

Instead of creating the lightning as swiftly as the fire, Miss. Alina took a few seconds to collect herself, but then there was a sudden shock and a part of the celling started to fall. She made a face and looked at as, an expression that represented her please don't tell anyone face and said, "oops." We laughed and she started to laugh too. "Alright, alright. Why don't you guys tap into something less destructive as Gwen's power. Get started."
I stood there trying to tap into someone's power, and decided I should just practise fire. It is part of me and if I pretend to be tapping into our teacher all should be well. 

I stood there, trying to snap a fireball into action when Miss. Alina saw me trying to pull of her little trick. "Trying to create a fireball, Misty?" I smiled and told her I was. She laughed. "fire is kinda hard to control. Do you want me to try to tap into your power?" I was scared she would find out who I am so I shock my head. "No, to be honest. Unless you don't have to tap into my own power." She looked at me, a smile on her face. 

"Don't worry. I won't. You see all you need to do is think of the power and then there will be some sparks." Suddenly a gust of wind flew past me. She really knew what she was doing. 

"Okay, let me try. I'll do something else..." She laughed. "Sure! Try Aria's power. It's freezing time. I'm sure you can do it." I nodded my head and went in for it. I closed my eyes and went into my center and felt something over fill me. I gasped and opened my eyes, and saw everyone standing still. Some people had things floating powers in their hands and so many more things. I stood up a little harshly and my chair fell to the ground, making a loud sound since nothing was doing anything but me. I moved to beside Aria and tapped her shoulder. Suddenly she came to life. 

"OH MY GOD! Did I do this?" She turned around and looked at me. Her hands flew to her mouth. "Um, why aren't you frozen? Why aren't I frozen? Crap." I did a small chuckle then looked at her. "Yeah, I tapped into your power. This is kinda my doing," Her eyes widened. "You must have blocked me. It is impossible for a person like you to stop me if it is my power without blocking me. Good job. Now undo it." "How..." She sighed. "Fine, I'll do it. But you owe me." She raised her hands and everyone came to life. 

"Misty?" Miss Alina said, confused. She turned around. "Oh! You either teleported or you froze time." Aria smiled at her. "She defiantly froze time." Miss. Alina smiled. "Good job Misty, that's a hard one to master." 

I laughed. "Thanks!" Oh this was a good day. I heard the bell ring and headed for the library. I bet that the gang would be there right now.
