I walked out of the shower with a towel wrapped around my body as I made my way over to the closet Juliana and I shared to find an outfit for tonight. My friends and I had decided that it would be a good idea to go out together again since it had been a long time we had done that because of how much we had to do for college the last two weeks that passed. You'd think last year in college was gonna be chill because you basically had three years behind you already but honestly, that was not the case. I was just glad that I would be done with it all soon.
My eyes scanned the clothes in my closet and I looked for an appropiate outfit to wear for tonight. We were just going to a frat party we were invited to from one of Aliyah's friends and I didn't want to look to overdressed for once because I didn't want to stick out or attract any attention from the boys. I simply wanted to have a good time with my friends and that was it.
Since Melyssa and Amir were together, she had asked him if he wanted to come with us too and he agreed to come but because he didn't want to be the only guy he asked Justin to come with us as well. I was glad when I heard that he was going to come with us. I was always glad to see Justin. The last two weeks we had been spending a lot of time with each other and we got along better and better everyday and I was very happy about that.
My friends were telling me that they were seeing me and him as a couple but honestly I didn't see us like that. We were just very close, like best friends kind of and it was good that way and I wouldn't want to ruin that because of a relationship. Besides that he never made any signs that he wanted to get with me that way so everything was fine between us and it wasn't gonna changed.
We were just gonna be friends. Nothing more, nothing less.
When I finally picked out a decent outfit for tonight, I quickly got dressed and took all the other things I needed to get ready to go to Juliana's room so I could get ready with her together. We turned the music up and danced along to the beat whilst we took out time to get ready for the night....
Juliana and I were in the middle of getting ready when we heard the door bell ring. Standing up from the chair I sat on, I made my way over to the door to open it for Melyssa and Aliyah. "Hey guys. Come in," I said happily when I saw my two best friends standing at the door. I stepped to the side so they both could walk in.
"Someone is in a very good mood," Aliyah noted and grinned at me as if me being in a good mood wasn't something that happend often. I was actually a very happy person, with normal mood swings like everybody else in this world but they always made it seem like rude and grumpy all the time.
"I'm just excited for tonight. Are you not?" I asked her in reply to her statement, as I walked in front of them and they followed me into Juliana's room.
