"Are you alright?" Alessandro asked me as he walked next to me to the direction I was walking to but I didn't answer him and I tried to ignore his presence while I continued to make my way home.
Out of all the people who could've been here he was the last person I wanted with me right now because he wasn't my friend and I didn't feel like talking to anybody who I had nothing to do with.
Besides, this was Alessandro we were talking about. I knew he had changed now ever since he confessed his feelings to me or whatever but I just wanted to leave it at that. I didn't need him around me and I also didn't want him to bother me and I think I had made that very clear.
"Leave me alone," I said to him after he asked me again if I was alright and I tried to walk faster so I would just leave him behind and he would simply understand that I wanted to be on my own but of course he didn't leave me alone as I asked him to.
"I just wanna know if you're okay," Alessandro responded and in his voice I could hear that he was sincere and that he wasn't playing around, which I seriously didn't hear often but regardless, I simply didn't want him to be near me, to walk with me and to talk to me.
"I'm good," I told him monotonously and hoped that maybe if he heard that I was okay he would just let me go my way and he would go back to wherever he came from. Guess what he did? Not leave me alone. "Can you go now?" I asked him, frustration audible in my voice now. I seriously had no idea what to say to him and what to do to make him go away because he just didn't want to leave me alone.
"No I'm gonna walk you home." he said and I stopped right in my tracks and turned to look at him with my eyebrows furrowed.
"No, why?" I wanted to know.
"You're clearly upset, I'll walk you home," he insisted and that annoyed me so much.
Normally I would never mind to be with somebody and to walk home with somebody but right now I was totally not in the mood for anybody and the fact that he will still not leaving me by myself was just so irritating.
I rolled my eyes and turned away from him so I could continue to walk home. "I'm grown. I can walk home by myself," I said a bit louder so he would hear since he was still standing somewhere behind me and I kept moving forward.
"Yes but I think having company isn't that bad right now," he said when he catch up to me and put his hand on my shoulder to slow me down, which I put right away for me because I didn't want to be touched by him.
"Don't you think I can decide that for myself?" I snapped at him.
"Well we're already walking so I can as well go with you." Alessandro then said and because I didn't to waste anymore energy on telling him to stay away for me I just let him walk me home like he wanted to because he wasn't going to go anywhere anyways. "I saw what just happend in the hall." he said after a few moments of silence and I wish he had not. I was trying so hard not to think about what had happened earlier and to be reminded of that wasn't pretty at all.
