Angie's POV:

German looks weirdly calm right now, on our way back.

- Did something happen? - I asked after a while.

- Huh?

- You look happier now than you were when we got to Alexandria.

- Happier? - he mumbled - Well... Maybe...

- Why?

- I just feel better seeing you happier - he said as he looked at me from the corner of his eyes and with a little smirk on his face - Was he okay?

- He was - I replied - He was still shocked... But definitely looked better than before. Thank you for doing what you've done...

German stayed silent for a little while.

- I've done it for you... Not him.

- He told me that too.

- Good...

- I'm glad you've done it after all... I'm grateful...

German just nodded silently as he continued focusing fully on the road, on our way home and I just didn't feel like saying anything.

Arriving back to our new home I got out of the car and I could see Vilu running up to me first while German went over to talk to Dwight about whatever they needed to talk about...

- What happened? - she asked me.

- Nothing much... I uh... I went to check on my friend.

- Who?? I wanna meet your survivor friends too!

- Vilu, I don't know if that's possible... You already know why...

- I know - she sighed - But maybe...

- Maybe - smiled - Maybe...

- What's going on over here, ladies?

German came up to us now, but before we could continue suddenly an unexpected and unwanted friend appeared, ruining a moment that was about to get good...

- German!! You've disappeared so quick this morning! Where have you been???

It was Jade and I already felt myself getting more and more annoyed while listening to her.

- And what are YOU doing here?! - she snapped at me.

- I've been living here, if you didn't know yet - I groaned.

- Wanting to steal German away from me, don't you?!

- Naw, I was just getting started - I said jokingly while German lead Jade away, but before leaving too he whispered to me:

- Visit me later today... We need to talk.

And he just walked away.
