Upcoming drama is promised in the next few chapters BRING OUT THE POPCORN!!
As I walked into the great hall for dinner, the loud chatter suddenly turned into hushed voices. All eyes were on me as I cautiously walked towards the third year girls and boys that all sat at the Gryffindor table.
The Marauders smiled at me in a pitiful way and I felt the glares of many girls on my back.
I felt my stomach knotting yet I ignored it and placed a lamb chop on my plate. The silence from everyone was making me feel uncomfortable.
I didn't actually touch my food, and I saw Peter eyeing it as if it was the best from the lamb plate.
I sighed, muttering 'here' as I used my cutlery to put it onto his plate.
Sirius looked at me oddly. "Aren't you going to eat anything?"
"I'm not that hungry. I reckon I'll go to bed." I said standing up.
I took a step towards the door but was stopped by a hand clutching onto my wrist. I turned around to see Sirius, eyes full of concern.
Once again I heard whispering from all around me. I looked at him with pleading eyes.
"Please." I muttered. Slowly, Sirius guiltily removed his hand and let it fall loosely next to him.
I swiftly turned around and strode outside the great hall, immediately turning towards doors that led me outside.
It was raining when I stepped out but I ignored that and let my feet guide me towards the forbidden forest.
I could already hear the thestrals neighing from just outside the forest, and they saw me as no threat as I entered the overgrowth.
I sat down a few metres away from them in the wet grass and fiddled with a fallen leaf, trying my best to ignore earlier events.
Everything was completely calm and peaceful, until something from deeper in the forest scared the thestrals, who all ran off.
I looked up and at the opposite direction from where the thestrals ran to and saw a flash in the trees; I immediately stood up, stepping forward and hiding behind a tree, peeking out the from the side.
A monstrous beast was strolling through the forest, a stag and a large black dog on its heels.
The beast was growling and the dog barking, the stag happily leaping about.
The peculiar group disappeared through the trees and I attempted to silently step forward and dive into a nearby bush, but as I did, I kinda tripped and fell into the bush instead.
I quickly sat up in time to see the beast stop, it's ears pricking up. The dog and the stag appeared to be desperately trying to get its attention, but obviously failing as the the gigantic creature lifted it nose in the air, sniffing and suddenly turning and facing the bush I was hiding behind so I could see its face in the moonlight that splashed in through the treetops.
"A werewolf..." I quietly muttered, my eyes widening.
It stepped towards me, but the dog jumped in front of it, bent low to the ground and growling.
The werewolf glared at the dog, stepping forwards again, but still the dog remained determined to keep it away.
At this the werewolf raised an arm that was armed with strength and sharp claws, bringing it down in a swift movement.
