✨October 6th 2017;
I sigh as I stare at the large building a couple of hundred yards away, hating the site of it. I mean, I usually love coming to this place 'cause it leads to exciting things, but there is nothing exciting about right now. Niall and Louis are leaving for a stupid football match in America and I don't know whether I'm upset about the fact they're leaving for a week, or the fact that I won't be there to support them.
"You two coming?" I ask, turning my head to look at Caitlin and Liam in the back seat, both occupied with their phones. Liam is Caitlin's boyfriend, they've been together since around the end of March, and I have to admit, he's grown on me. I never liked the idea of them together at the beginning, for obvious reasons, but now he seems really genuine and so does his feelings for my little 'sister'.
"Why are we at the airport?" Liam questions, confused. Did I mention he doesn't know about Caitlin's close relationship with Louis and Niall, simply due to the fact she didn't want to be used? I mean, he's a big football supporter, and especially of the London City Knights. Caitlin was afraid that he would base his feelings around trying to get to meet Niall and Louis, and nobody wants that.
"My best friends are going away for a week, so I'm here to say good bye," he nods, the two of them unbuckling their seat belts and getting out of the car. The three of us make our way into the airport, Caitlin's arms wrapped around my waist from the side as we walk.
"Can we get McDonalds whilst we're in here?" I chuckle, shrugging, leaning down to mumble a reply so Liam doesn't hear.
"Their flights been delayed for three hours, so I'll ask Niall, I'm sure he won't say no, though," she grins at the mention of Niall, the two of them having developed somewhat, a sibling bond, despite her comments on how good looking he was when they first met.
Having went up two escalators and walked through a numerous amount of doors in this massive airport, I finally spot the whole football team up ahead, occupying around twenty seats in one area. "No way!" Liam says in disbelief. "It's the whole London Knights team!" His face is priceless, like a little kids at Christmas time.
I chuckle, nodding my head. "You wanna go say hi? We have time. My friends can wait," I shrug. When did I become such a good liar? He nods his head repeatedly, rushing ahead to greet the team and ask for photos.
"You think I should have told him?"
"He's a boy. He might be mad at you didn't for like five minutes, but he'll understand where you're coming from," she sighs, nodding as we finally get closer to the boys. I notice Niall and Louis missing instantly, and sigh, hoping they'll be back soon.
I make small conversation with one of the players as Liam goes around them all, getting autographs and selfies. Caitlin eyes never leaving Liam as she unintentionally smiles, watching his interaction with the players. Do I do that with Niall?
"Freya!" A voice shouts behind me. I spin around, spotting Danielle running towards me, an excited grin on her face with Perrie, Louis and Niall trailing behind her. She finally reaches me, engulfing me in a massive hug, which I return. The two of us haven't seen each other in a little over two weeks, and it'd be a lie if I said I didn't miss her.
"Why is Perrie with Niall and Louis?" Liam asks as he steps in between Caitlin and I.
"Maybe she's a fan like you are," I shrug, giving Caitlin a knowing smile as I feel hands grip my waist, pulling me forward.
I squeal, surprised, looking up to see Niall's perfect smile grinning down at me. He laughs, wrapping his arms loosely around my waist, his hands resting on my bum, a cheeky grin on his face. "Baby, I missed you," he mumbles, kissing my forehead.
