Third Person P.O.V.

Paige's body lies lifelessly in her bed as her family gets home. Her mom calls out her name, not sure where she is. Alex walks upstairs and peeks into Paige's room and sees her body lying there.

Alex walks over to the body and pokes Paige's cheek but there's no movement.

"Paige? Come on this isn't funny." Alex says but still there's no sign of life.

"I won all my races!" Alex tries again but again; nothing.

"Mom!" Alex cries and her mom comes running upstairs.

"What's wrong? Why isn't she awake?" Their mom asks Alex.

"Mom she isn't moving or talking. I don't think she's breathing." Alex says quietly and that's when she sees the stack of letters and the empty pill bottle.

"NO! Paige no! You couldn't have!" Alex yells and starts to sob over Paige's body.

Their dad has called 911 and the ambulance just arrived. The EMTs run upstairs to Paige's room and feel for a pulse but can't find one.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Wilson. There's nothing we can do." One of the EMTs says to their mom.

"We'll give you all a moment." They say and leave the family to be with their little girl.

Alexandra still hasn't processed what has happened yet. She's still crying over her little sister's dead body as her dad holds her mom in his arms as they both cry.
