3 days after that incident, Taehyung barely called me or even texted me. It's just Joonie oppa who kept me updated about their whereabouts and what was he doing during their practice and such.

"So, yeah. Taehyung is kinda silent after that incident. But don't worry, Jimin is always there to cheer him up."
Joonie oppa stated on the other line as he called me up after having their practice or whatever you call it.

"Do they even know about what has happened? I mean the whole group of yours?" I asked in reply, close enough to make my way there to explain everything to them and help me with Tae.

I'm already exhausted from my work, being a teacher as well as a tutor. I don't want to add this kind of problem anymore.

We're already over with that Dahyun's set up incident and here we are again, having troubles with my parents. I wish I could just drown myself into sleep and wake up having my parents wholeheartedly welcoming Taehyung in our house. Is that even possible? I am ready to bargain everything I have just to make that happen.

"Hyejin! Are you still there?"
Joonie oppa brought me back to reality and I realized my mind was too preoccupied about the happenings in my damn life.

"I think I need some rest. Thank you, oppa! Kindly call me up when something went wrong with him. Thank you so much!" I deadpanned and hung up the call.

** TAEHYUNG'S POV **

"C'mon, man! Get up! We only have one and a half hour for our break. Stop acting like a zombie!" Jimin is shaking my whole body, lying on my bed, just to make me get up.

I am not in a good mood to roam around the streets today. I just.. I feel so exhausted. This is not my usual self, I know. But it feels like I just want to have my 'me-time' right now.

"Hey! Are you going or not? The boys are waiting for us outside." Jimin called, decided to stop shaking me off of the bed.

"Go on now, Chim. Just want to rest." I rolled my body to look at him.

He seemed so confused on what I am doing but I don't want to bother my best friend. It's my own personal problem to just involve him tho.

He rubbed the back of his head and said, "Okay, as you say so. You want me to buy you tea?"

"Yeah, that would be of a big help, bro! Thanks."

"Okay." He then walked through the door but before he finally walk out of our room, he looked at me and said, "I know what's happening to you, bro. Namjoon hyung told us. So, I just want to remind you that my ears are always ready to listen to you. You can rely on me, on us. Don't stress yourself too much. There's a lot of things to think of first before that. Just.. Don't let anyone ruin your career. Be back later, dude." And after that, he finally closed the door and leave.

There's a lot of things to think of first before that. Just.. Don't let anyone ruin your career.

There's a lot of things to think of first before that. Just.. Don't let anyone ruin your career.

There's a lot of things to think of first before that. Just.. Don't let anyone ruin your career.

Don't let anyone ruin my career? What the heck is that?! He doesn't even know how much Hyejin inspired me just to pursue this career of mine. He doesn't even know how much of a help Hyejin is to be what I am right now.

Ugh!

"It's been one week, tho." I thought to myself. How is she doing by the way? Should I call her now? Or.. Should I fetch her after school? Hmm. That would be better!

After a few minutes, I decided to fetch her after school and ask her for a date. I want to apologize to her for not being a perfect boyfriend.

** HYEJIN'S POV **

A week without his calls, texts, or even without seeing him is not so fine.

But.. There is something that's been bothering me since I have talked to their manager.

Well, their manager took my phone number from Namjoon oppa and called me and asked me to meet him in a café. So, who am I to refuse an invitation right? Especially when it is from their manager. After class, I decided to go straight to the said café for a talk with their manager.

Once I got there, I already recognized Namjoon oppa's back and go straight to where he is.

"Good afternoon!" I greeted.

"Hyejin! Finally." He said.

"Where is he? Your manager?"

"He's on his way here." Namjoon oppa smiled at me genuinely in which I smiled in return. In just a second, my smile faded and I looked at the table.

Maybe Joonie oppa noticed my sudden change of mood so he said, "Don't worry. Taehyung's fine. He's just uh.. A bit out of himself."

I raised my eyebrow to show confusion which he noticed.

"He's been aloof since that day. Yeah, he's been practicing with us and such but we could say that he barely talks nor smiles which is totally not him. So basically, he's out of himself."

"S-sorry. You know my parents, oppa. They're not used to seeing me with any other guy but you. You know them well. They still treat me like a teenage girl who they think that can be easily fooled by some stupid guys out there! But I know Taehyung. I know he won't do that."

"I know, Hyejin-ah. I know. That's why I'm not against you two. I've been like a big brother to you and I won't let any guy hurt you in any ways. And that is why I came all the way to your house just to clear Taehyung's name. Remember?" He smiled at me like he can feel whatever we were going through.

"Th--"

"Now you're here. I see." Someone cut me off and as we lift our heads up for whoever it is, Joonie oppa stood up with panic and bowed at the person.

"Sajangnim!"

The person whom I assumed to be their sajangnim, as to what Joonie oppa called him, looked and smiled at me creepily while crossing his arms. Well, he's with his two bodyguards, based on their looks, and with a not-so-tall and not-so-old man.

After a few minutes of our staring contest, namjoon oppa called my attention.

"Hyejin-ah. President." He mouthed, in which I already got.

"Oh! Nice to meet you, Sajangnim." I stood up and bowed at him.
