32 THE "TALK"

"So, you're Ms. Lee Hyejin whom I assumed to be Kim Taehyung's girlfriend. Am I right?" I almost jumped off of my seat when sajangnim broke the awkward silence we were into. I'm sitting beside Joonie oppa and the others sat across us.

"N-ne, sajangnim." I looked at Namjoon oppa and he just gave me a smile -- a smile that shows both worry and fright.

"How long have you been? The two of you?" He asked.

"7 months, I guess."

"Hm. Still fresh. How is your relationship then?"

Say what?! Like who does he think he is to interrogate me about my PERSONAL LIFE? He's not even related to me, to the both of us. So why does he need to just waste his precious time to know about my relationship with his artist..

Yeah right.

With his artist.

Joonie oppa holds my hand under the table which is closed in a fist. Maybe he has noticed me, being uncomfortable around their boss.

"W-we're doing good." I answered him coldly. Gosh! If it's not just because he's my boyfriend's boss, I've already decided to excuse myself and walk out of this crap.

"Right! I don't want to take this any much longer. Hyejin-ssi. I'm worried sick about the condition of my artist here, okay? I know that you're completely aware about what's happening to him for this past few days. And to tell you honestly.. He's been insensible about what was happening to himself. And--"

"And what do you want me to do?" I know I'm being disrespectful for cutting him off. But come on guys! I know what he's up to! I know what's on his mind. And just by his tone, by his choice of words. I know what he wants me to do.

He smirked at me and said, "It's just simple. Stay away from him."

Just exactly what I thought it is!

"Sajangnim!" Joonie oppa called out in shock. I turned to look at him and gave him a weak smile telling him that it's okay. I then turn to look at the culprit in front of me and glare at him.

"Is that all what you want?" I asked him coldly.

He just smirk at me in return, take a sip of his coffee, and said..

"Don't worry. I could give you money if you could simply do that. Any amount you want, Hyejin-ssi."

Right! Does he think I could be easily blinded by his money? What kind of a boss he is, really?

I stood up, looking at the ground with both my hands closed in a tight fist. I'm biting my lower lip to refrain myself from crying.

"No, thank you. I don't need any of your money. I can have that on my own, just so you know. And what do you want me to do again? Break up with Taehyung? Stay away from your artist? Don't worry. I can do that freely. But don't you ever think that I'm going to do this for you. I'm going to do this for Taehyung's sake. Now will you please excuse me, sajangnim? I still have a lot of things to do other than wasting my time here. Thank you for your precious time."

I was about to walk out from that place when their boss called out for my name which made me halt.

"Hyejin-ssi. I hope this would be the first and last meeting of ours."

I turn to face him and said,

"Don't worry. I don't even want to see your creepy face EVER AGAIN!" With that, I stomped my feet and walked out.

Once I got out of that café, my phone suddenly rang. I fished out my phone and when I turn to look for who my caller is..

Kim Taehyung..

I decided to answer it and listen to whatever he is about to say.

"Where are you? I was at your school about 30 minutes ago. But it was already empty so I decided to just call you to know where you are right now."

I closed my eyes and bit my lower lip to prevent my tears from falling down.

"Fetch me at my house. Let's go out. We need to talk."

Hi guys! Sorry if my story is quite boring. I'm not in a good mood the past few days that's why all of my updates are nonsense.

Even though most of you found it boring, I'm still forcing myself to make it worth reading.

I just somewhat feels like out of place. Haha. I'm glad that a few of you guys, still keep on reading this story despite of being soooo boring.

But don't worry. We're about to reach the climax of the story. Let's just say that we're already on the rising action of the story, guys.
