37 TALK ABOUT HER

** TAEHYUNG'S POV **

"I'm sooo excited to see her again, Daddy! You know what? When I got lost yesterday, I thought I would never see you again. I thought that someone would just take me from there and make me their slave. I'm really scared. But when Hyejin-ssi came, I suddenly feel secured. She's soo kind and pretty~~ what do you think would be perfect for her?"

Ever since yesterday, Taejin is blabbering non-stop about Hyejin that makes my head aches. This kid is really oblivious about her surroundings.

"Taejn." I called her attention.

"Ne?"

"Your uncles will be here in a minute. Go get dressed now so you can play with them later."

"Really daddy? Omo! Omo! Just in time! I would seek for help from Uncle Kookie and Uncle Chim since they know how to draw. This would be great!" Taejin squealed just by the mention of the name of the boys.

Trust me. I never taught her that. I don't even know why she ended up like that. I mean, she's just five years old but she's already acting like she's already ten or such. She's sooo hyper. But I can't stop her from doing what she wants cause I want her to feel her freedom and did I mention? She really wants to become a fashion designer someday. So yeah, I think that clarifies everything.

Just in time..

I walk towards the door to welcome the boys who, of course, brought a lot of snacks and stuffs for their niece.

All of them has treated Taejin like their own blood. That is why she is very close to them.

"Where is my favorite girl?" Hobi hyung got inside quickly, ignoring my presence, just to look for Taejin who's now rushing towards him.

"Uncle Hobiiiii~~" they hugged each other like they haven't seen each other for a long time.

"Annyeong~~" Chim and Kookie entered, followed by Yoongi hyung, Jin hyung, and Namjoon hyung.

She hugged them one by one and started chattering about how she got lost in the park and how she meets Hyejin yesterday.

"Hyejin? As in Lee Hyejin?!!" Namjoon hyung asked in surprise.

"Ne, uncle. Isn't she your childhood friend?" Taejin asked him in response, waiting for his confirmation.

Namjoon hyung looked at me, confused before nodding to Taejin.

"She's also your daddy's first--" Hobi hyung almost spilled out about our past to Taejin but thankfully, Yoongi hyung covered his mouth as soon as he can before Hobi hyung complicates things.

"Daddy's first what? Uncle Yoongi. Why did you cover Uncle Hobi's mouth?"

"She is your daddy's first uhh.. First.."

"First fan. They've become close because of me, Taejin-ah. Since Hyejin is my childhood friend and she's a fan of Taehyung, I introduced them to each other." Namjoon hyung reasoned out just to cover up Yoongi hyung.

I let out a heavy sigh in relief. Thank you for backing me up, Hyungs.

"Ahhh. Woooow! So, they really know each other that well." Taejin said, totally unaware of what was happening.

"Really really close." Hobi hyung blurted out intriguingly.

"But how--"

"Taejin-ah! Would you want Uncle Kookie teach you how to draw?" Kookie asked, trying to change the topic. I wish that would be of big help, Bro.

"Oh yeah! I remembered. Teach me how to draw wedding gowns, uncle."

"Wedding gowns?!! For whom?" All of them shrieked in chorus, surprised with Taejin's statement.

"Yes. For Hyejin-ssi"

Just by the mention of her name, each of them gasped and suddenly became muted, turning their gaze on me. I just gave them a weak smile, telling them to stop talking about her in front my daughter.

"O-okay, sure! Let's go to your room then, lil kid." Kookie stepped towards her and lifted her up and put her in his shoulder and went upstairs.

Once they're now out of sight and earshot, Namjoon hyung asked me.

"So, what has happened yesterday?" Ad so I tell them the incident from the very start up until we parted ways.

"And she's getting married." Yoongi hyung blurted out still trying to process everything in his mind.

"Y-yeah. Next month, I guess."

"That fast?!!!" Hobi hyung, being so loud as he is, half-shouted in surprise which then received a smack on the back of his head from Yoongi hyung.

"One more shout and I swear, I will kick you out of this house, retard." Yoongi hyung, being annoyed, threatened Hobi hyung which quite effective since he chose to shut his mouth.

"It's been five years, Hyung." I said.

"Yeah right. But the question is, are you okay with that?" Jin hyung then asked.

"I'm happy with my daughter now, Hyung. She's more important to me than anybody else." I assured him but none of them seemed so pleased with what I have said.

"You can't fool us, Tae." Jimin told me, accusingly.

"Look. Even though I'm not fine with it, that I can't accept it, I can't just make her back out of her wedding. It's been five years, dude. And maybe she has forgotten all about us. Besides, she looks so happy with her fiancé now. And it looked like the guy loves her more than she does."

"You will never know that unless you talk to her. What happened to the both of you was not her will. She just did that for your sake. Who knows? Maybe up until now, she still loves you. After all the sacrifices she made? It's not that easy to move on, Tae. Especially when you decided to break up with someone you really love that is against your will? Trust me. I knew better." Namjoon hyung stated like he really knew everything.

I thought of asking him what does he know about that breakup thing but then, I chose not to cause I know nothing will change.
