Warning! Long chapter

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been busy with school and homework (I hate high school) so to make it up to you guys, this chapter is going to be really long! So plz enjoy and plz like and follow cuz it makes me feel warm and toasty inside <3

I woke up to another grey morning. I sat up and rubbed my eyes a little. I heard ruffling downstairs.

Jaden must be cooking

I slowly stood up and made my way downstairs, tripping over my feet a few times. When I got to the living room, I saw a huge mess of clothing and junk around Jaden, sitting on the floor. I stared for a while then realized the actual mess he had made.

"Um.....what in the world are you doing? I just want you to know that your cleaning all this shit up." I said.

Jaden looked up at me, "Yea yea I know, but it doesn't really matter because we're not staying here any longer." He replied, throwing a few things inside a small suitcase.

".....what?" My brain tried to process what was happening.

"We aren't safe here anymore, and I can't exactly explain what those symbols mean so I'm taking you to my old home. He doesn't expect us to go there." Jaden threw more clothes in the bag.

"Wait what? Who?" I asked

"My father." He replied in a lower tone.

"I'm sorry, I'm still really confused." I shook my head a little. This didn't make any sense.

"Just go up and change, you'll understand later."

Still confused, I went upstairs to change. After a few minutes I remembered the symbols that appeared on my hand. The strange curves and edges they had. I changed into some black skinny jeans and a blue tang top. I then grabbed my favorite black jacket and my black converse with silver and gold studs on the sides. I went back downstairs and went outside. There was a small jeep parked in front of the house. Jaden was on the drivers seat checking something on the steering wheel.

"Where the hell did you get this from?" I asked. The only thing that came to my head was that he either stole it or found it in the junkyard.

"Catherine, meet my beautiful baby, Hera. She was stored away in an abandoned warehouse for safety. I never really showed her to you, so here she is." He patted the steering wheel gently.

"Wow, what else are you hiding from me? A unicorn?" I joked.

Jaden's musical laugh travelled through the empty neighborhood. I smiled wide at his bright smile. He looked so adorable.

What the hell?!

After a few seconds I realized I was staring directly at Jaden. He was again fixing something on the steering wheel. I quickly shook my head and went inside. I looked around and started packing some of my own clothes. I was still very confused in where we were going and what was happening but my head hurt too much to think about it. I didn't pack up many things, only a few jeans and shirts. I barely filled a small suitcase. I never really had much clothes since I wasn't the girly type. I usually used my clothing until it was either too small or completely shredded. To be honest, it actually saved alot of money.

I went outside again and found the jeep packed up with two other suitcases.

"Ready to go?" Jaden asked, making his way around the jeep to me. He grabbed my suitcase and placed it along with the other ones in the open trunk.
