I confidently walked outside as Cordell and the group led me to the middle of the forest. I thought for sure my training was gonna be in some giant gym or arena, but I'm confused as to why we're going absolutely nowhere.

"Sooo am I gonna have to pass some cool obstacle course or practice with others, because I'm not really in good condition and-" I got cut off by Cordell slamming my hard against a tree.

"ARGH! WHAT THE HE-" he grabbed my shirt and threw me about twenty feet away like a rag doll.

My soft skin crashed against the hard ground. The air was knocked out of me, and my vision was blurry. I only yelled in pain and tried standing up slowly. I looked down to see some yellow leafs covered in blood. My hands were all scratched up and burning.

"WHAT THE HELL CORDELL?!" I screamed towards Cordell and the others. They all had their noses scrunched up, as if thinking 'ouch!' Except Cordell. He looked extremely serious. Those eyes fused holes into my soul, sending chills all thought my body. He was making his way to me again, a evil looking expression on his face. My heart jumped and I tried to crawl away only to be brutally kicked in chest, sending me back forcefully to the ground. I got lightheaded and prayed for my life.

"This is the only way your body will send danger signals and wake your beast up. Either you will successfully transform, or die in the process. Either way, I'm not going easy on you." Cordell voice was creepily low and rough. It seemed like the humanity in him got sucked out and replaced by a demons soul.

"W-what?" I coughed roughly.

"You heard me!" He once again grabbed my shirt and slammed me against the ground.

I felt like I was dying, he was killing me. I tried loosening his grip on my shirt but it seemed like his hands had turned into concrete.

"Please! Cordell stop!" I tried my best to not suffocate on the blood gathered in my mouth.

I was again tossed to the ground, rolling a few times. I heard distant screaming, but I couldn't make out any words. My whole body was burning like fire. All I could do was groan painfully. I wasn't able to stand up or even move. Everything in me felt broken.I blacked out slightly, only to return to Cordell putting me on his back. He carried me towards a plain grass field. I could hear Jaden screaming at Cordell many curse words.

"Her beast is going to enrage and come out. There's no other way!" I looked up and saw the other guys standing behind us terrified to get close to the monster holding me.

He got a hold of my back and threw me on the ground. I didn't move or yell, I slowly started closing my eyes feeling defeated. Completely broken. I hear a screeching noise in my ears that made me cringe. I covered my ears screaming and squirming. When I opened my eyes I only saw dark black orbs starring back at me making everything else around me darken as well. I heard many voices flooding my brain. Voices I didn't recognize but it was slowly driving me crazy.

"SHUT UP!!" I screamed infuriated.

"I SAID SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!" I said completely enraged. I screamed as loud as I could as my blood boiled hotter than lava. I instantly felt weight on my body and pushed as hard as I could, launching whatever was in front of me.

I heard a loud crash somewhere in front of me. I opened my eyes and only saw everything in a deep shade of blue. I could see people running towards some falling trees. Someone approached me, speaking mumbled words I didn't understand. I screamed once again feeling like I was breathing fire.

I tried standing up only to tumble a bit and fall back down into an abyss of darkness. Hearing someone say, "Catherine!"
