What's up everyone! I'm sorry I haven't posted in about two three months. I just couldn't find any inspiration but I'm finally back and I'll try to make this chapter extra long and a little bit more detailed. I'm still working on being a good writer XD. See ya around! <3

"I don't know how to train her! I didn't expect her to turn into an Alpha Beast just like that!"

"We don't even know what's she's capable of, we haven't seen this beast in centuries."

"Then what are we supposed to do?"

"I'm not sure, we're just gonna try our best to control her. We never know when her shadow will develop."

I heard a bunch of quiet voices around me. I could feel my heart beating slightly faster than usual. Everything was blurry and quiet. Small black dots appeared a little in my vision, and brought back a flashback of a strange unfamiliar scene. There was a man, a very tall man. His huge muscles bulging under his skin. His back had two large metal looking wings infused into his skin. I could see some horns poking out from his head, and a strange looking tail. There was a bunch of buildings that were on fire around him. It looked like a small town. Many people were screaming and others were fighting. Everyone looked unusual. Some had animal parts, others had glowing skin, and a few flew around with large wings or strange dust. The man turned around and looked directly into my soul with bright blue glowing eyes.

Save your town Catherine. Help them, cure them, protect them. Complete your mission.

His voice was like a ghost. It was only a distant whispering. He looked away once again and rushed towards a small burning, disappearing in the violent flames.

I instantly shot my eyes open and sprung up into a sitting position. All of my body felt like a burning volcano. My back was heavy, and felt like it had been pierced by jagged needles. My head was throbbing in pain, as my eyes tried to adjust to the white lighting in the room.

"Whoa! Hey, calm down. Breathe, you're okay." A woman rushed from the doorway to me, instantly grabbing my arms and pressing me against the bed.

My breathing was fast, and rigid. My throat incredibly dry, it was painful. I kept steady eye contact with the emerald stars close to my face. The color seemed to drift into different shades of that green. It calmed me down. I only starred in awe, as the woman's eyes sent waves of soothing warmth to my head. The pain around my body had faded away slowly. My breathing back to normal.

"That's it, now lay back. Just stay calm." She said again with a steady silk tone. She grabbed a wet towel from beside me, and wiped my forehead.

The woman's eyes stopped shifting and froze into a dark forest green. I took a very deep breath, and regained my consciousness. I looked around.

I was in a small hospital room. There was some weird machines connected to my neck and back. I saw Jaden and his friends standing a little away from me. Beside my bed was another one, with Cordell sitting on it. He had a huge bandage around his arm. It had a blood stain. His face was covered in small scratches and bruises. His wrist was also bandaged up. I looked at his eyes but instantly regretted it. He looked angry, furious.

"What......what happened?" I quietly spoke to him.

"Don't you fuckig act all innocent. You know exactly what happened." Cordell's voice was incredibly deep and raspy. Scary.

"What? What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"If you got a beast transmitted to you through Jaden's touch, there is no way you could've turned into a Alpha beast just like that." He stood up to his towering height and got closer to my bed. My body automatically tensed, but didn't back off. Instead, my back automatically straightened and my hands turned into fists.
