Michael

I shoot up, woken by the sound of the flight attendant talking over the muffled intercom.

We've landed.

Leo is already awake, shoving the blankets she used last night back into our carryons, sneaking in a few Nutella and Cracker boxes too.

"They'll neevverr know." She whispers.

Ashton has his daughter draped over one of his toned shoulders, and her bright pink backpack with a gray kitten printed on the front on the other.

Calum and Luke were dragging their feet, struggling to hold their carryons that they stuffed with electronics, blankets and food, all of them unused after the fourteen hour flight.

"Oh my fuck please walk slower." Luke sighs, talking to Josh, who was literally a zombie walking in front of the annoyed Luke.

"Shut the fuck up Luke no one likes you." I smirk, Leo whipping around and punching my shoulder.

"Watch your fucking language Logan is right here you littlr shit fucks." Ashton whispers, going down the stairs and through the shakey tube of the plane to get to the ground.

Tyler, who was on his second Red Bull already, is carrying Jenna on his back, who has their carryons on her back.

Its Leo and I's turn to shuffle down the narrow aisle and make our way to level ground once again. I slap her ass as she scoots out of our section. She giggles and continues to walk, almost tripping a few times from catching her feet on the sides of the chairs.

I watch as she walks, making sure that if she does actually fall then I'll be able to catch her in time.

I notice she has on her worn, gray Converse All Stars that she's had since year eight, I swear she never leaves the house without those old things on.

"They're perfectly broke in, and my feet are done growing."

She also has her favorite Avia socks on and inside out, like usual.

"That way, when you take them off, they are right side out and you don't have to stick your hand in them when they're washed and everything."

I smile just thinking of her quirks and goofy things she does when she thinks no one is watching. I could sit and watch her fold laundry and not get bored.

We meet Josh, Tyler, Jenna, Ashton, Logan, Calum and Luke on the ground. Once we are all in a group, we make our way into the airport and finish up, then go out and find a taxi that will hold the nine of us.

We had to scrunch together, but we loaded into a taxi, got to the Marriot and checked in.

My eyes widened at how beautiful the hotel looked from the inside.

Tall, towering ceilings with sky lights topping them off, letting the New York sun shine through them and glisten on the suprisingly clean tile floors, only marked with black streaks made by expensive work shoes and luggage carts.

Leo and Jenna check us in, while the the guys, Logan, and I make our way to the elevator.

"Woah." Logan gasps in her small, squeaky, mouse of a voice, still thickened with her heavy Australian accent, just like her Mom and Dad.

"Loooots of buttons." She says, straining her neck to look up at Ashton with wide eyes. She smiles with all eight of her baby teeth and bites the hand that Ashton's isn't swallowing.

He laughs and lifts her up, her shirt sliding up a bit, revealing her outy belly button.

I lean over and poke it, I can't help it.

She giggles and skirms her little feet that were dressed in black Converse that Leo found.

"What did I say to do if Michael poked you?" Ashton whispers to Logan.

She turns her head, her hand still held captive in her mouth. She furrows her thin, strawberry blonde eyebrows together with a concerned look on her face.

"No!" She squeals.

"I'll do it." Luke chuckles.

"No stop!" Logan laughs, reaching out for Luke. "Don't kick Mike!" She demands. Tyler and Josh lose it and almost fall on the floor laughing.

"I think we all know who the boss is in here." Tyler chuckles in between laughs.

Logan balls her little fists together, just like Calum taught her to, and Luke puts his hands up in a surrender as Leo and Jenna make their way into the elevator with us.

"That one." Leo smiles, pointing to the circle button with a 9 on it. Logan happily pushes the button about twenty times as the doors close, and twenty more times on our way up.

Leo, Jenna, Tyler, Josh and I have a room. Luke, Ashton, Logan and Calum got the one down the hall.

We are performing on the eleventh of this month, September, and its only the ninth. So we have some time to kill.

Leo collapses on the lumpy, hotel mattress while I work on unpacking our things. Once I'm done with that, I flop down beside her, grabbing her empty, clamy hand.

She squeezes mine in response, twisting on her side so she would be facing me.

"I love you." She giggles.

"I love you too." I say back, trying to keep from showering her with kisses while Jenna, Tyler, and Josh are all standing in the same room. She blushes very easily, and she doesn't like when people see her face turn a dark shade of red or erupt into a fit of uncontrolable giggles, even though I love it.

Jenna, Tyler and Josh finish unpacking their things into the cheap drawers of the hotel dresser.

"I really want some FroYo." Jenna sighs, flopping onto the bed with Leo and I, resting both of her hands on her baby bump.

"Same." Josh sighs, mimicking Jenna, landing harshly on the comforter, also resting his hands on his abs.

"I'm down, let's go." Tyler says, already making his way to the door.

"You guys wanna come?" Jenna asks, laughing at how quick Tyler was up and ready to go.

"C'mon guys! Hurry uuuuup!" Tyler calls from down the hall.

"We're good, thanks." Leo chuckles, scrunching her face into my chest.

Josh shuts the door behind them, and Leo rolls over on top of me, folding her hands on my chest and resting her chin on her wrists.

Her vibrant, meadow green eyes meet my boring, musky forest green ones.

I can't help but smile, not even half of my feelings for this girl expressed on my face.

"What?" She giggles, scooting up closer so our noses were touching.

"I love you." I say, honest and proud.

"I love you too." She says, turning her head a little so our lips could meet without our noses clashing together.

A single kiss, suprisingly, isn't all its cracked up to be. Your lips touch a small portion of your whole world, and it makes your heart stop, almost numbing you, so you close your eyes and enjoy it, letting your heart totally relax, knowing the person in front of you is actually in front of you and actually feels the same godamned way you do.

What the great part is, though, is what comes after.

After your lips break apart, is when your heart quickens and everything seems to accelerate, making you dive back in for more. Your brain squeals and those cliché fireworks explode in your head as your lips meet once again, and that, my darling, is what a little bit of love feels like.

And once you feel it, you'll never forget it, and you'll definately never want to let it slip through your fingers.
