Chapter 45

Ambers POV

I walked through the door and I saw Alex on the hospital bed. Sara was sitting next to him and Robert and Zach were sitting down.

"Amber!" I see Sara get up and ran towards me. She hugs me and I stare at Alex. She let's go of me and walks back to her seat.

I went over to Alex.

"Hey Alex" He looks at me and opens his arms wide so I can hug him.

I hugged him from the hospital bed.

I pull away from the hug and he says "So how are you?"

"I'm great." I smile and turned around because someone tapped my shoulder.

Once I turned around someone hugged me. I pulled away.

"Oh hey Sara." I said surprised.

"I haven't seen you in a long time." She said. Right behind Sara was Austin. I tried to keep eye contact with Sara but he was staring at me the whole time. I didn't notice that Sara was talking to me.

"So are you gonna do it with me?" Sara asks.

I snapped out of daydreaming and I went back to reality.

"Wait what?" I ask her. She looked at me with a impatient look.

"Come on." She grabbed my arm and we both went out in the hallway.

"Were gonna plan a surprise birthday for Zach." She whispered silently so they won't hear us.

"September 30th right?" I ask her.

"Yea. 2 weeks from now..." She hesitated.

"Is everyone going to be there?" I said.

"Of course. Me, Alex, Robert, Austin ..." When she said Austin I looked at her. Then I looked back down.

"Are you okay?" She asks me.

"Can i tell you something?" I looked down.

"Yea what is it?"

"I kissed Austin." I looked up at her. I thought she would he shocked but she was smiling. Her smile made me smile.

"What?" I said

"When did you kiss him?" She crossed her arms and smiled.

I took a deep breathe and before I was gonna say it, someone came out of the room. It was the last person I would wanna see. It was Austin.

"Can I talk to Amber, Sara?" Austin interrupted our conversation.
