Chapter 89

Ambers POV

"Yea. Well make it work." I said agreeing with him. He leaned in for a hug and I hugged him feeling his warm body against mine. His cologne smelled good.

I honestly don't know if we'll work it out. A lot of things can happen in 6 months. He could find another girl, I can find another guy. I'm not sure if we can work it out but I just agreed with Austin making him happy.

I know what he's been going through and I just him to be happy.

He pulled away from the hug and we walked out the door. I walked down the stairs into the living room and Austin was behind me.

"Awww the happy couple." I hear Alex say so I can hear him. I smiled.

"We're not a couple." I said walking over to the couch and sitting down. Austin sat next to me.

"You're not?" Sara said sadly.

I was about to say no but Austin interrupted me saying "Not yet." I turned to him and smiled.

"So you guys will go out?" I see all 4 of them looking at me.

"I don't know." I said looking down.

"Oh." I hear someone say but I didn't look up. It got silent.

"Um Amber?" I hear someone ask. I looked up.

"So you're leaving in 4 days?" I see Alex lean over and said. I sighed and looked at Robert. He shrugged.

"Sorry I had to tell them." He said apologizing for some reason.

"No its okay." I said smiling.

"Uhhh yea. I'm leaving on the 26th." I said pushing my hair back and letting out a huge sigh.

It got silent again.

"So you're not coming back?" I hear Sara ask and I looked at her with a guilty look.

"Yea." I said sadly.

"You're gonna miss my birthday." I hear Zach say. I look at him and felt my heart broke.

"Zach." I said getting up and hugging him. He hugged me back. I pulled away and sat back down.

"I'm so sorry Zach." I said apologizing.

"Its okay. I'll just have a party without my best friend." He said pretending to cry.

"Zach!" I hear Robert scream. We all looked at Robert. He smiled at Zach.

"I thought I was your best friend?" Robert joked and we all laughed.
