If your wondering Skyla was not the most popular girl in school, however she has her small group of loyal friends that made her smile day in and day out. She took her education more seriously than others as she had a bright future ahead of her. Her role model was her dad as he fought in war protecting the city of America. He was away for months on end bravely fighting for his country, while Skyla was at home worrying everyday and wondering if he would ever come home safe.
Her mum sadly passed away whilst giving birth to Skyla. So at this point in time, she has now learnt to handle the pain and greif of loosing someone that would of meant so much to her. At the age of 4 Skyla's auntie took on the role of her mum giving her the protection and stability to start off in life, as her dad was out fighting. It was hard for Skyla to find out that her mother had passed away whilst giving birth to such a young intelligent little girl.
As the years swiftly passed by, Skyla was now in 10th grade at Boston High school. She loved going to school as her small group of loyal friends made her feel welcome everyday. She didn't really take notice in boys as she concerntrated on her school work most of the time. But then Jacob the new boy had just started and as the days passed, Skyla had realised how much she actually liked him. She had never really thought of having a crush or boyfriends, but this time it was for real, but she knew that she would not stand a chance with him...
Jacob was in most of her classes, and sat next to her in maths. They both said hello to each other but that was about it for the rest of the lesson. When the bell rang at the end of the maths, Jacob asked Skyla where the I.T block is. She just stopped and glared straight into his bright blue eyes. "Well?..." Jacob repetitively asked. "Oh erm, what did you ask?" Replied Skyla. "I asked if you know where the I.T block is, but you looked at me gone out." Claimed Jacob Skyla replied with, " Oh Sorry, so you have to go out the doors, up the stairs and it's the first doors on the left" "Thank you Skyla" Jacob announced.
As soon as Jacob had left to go to his next lesson, Skyla ran as fast as she could to English, so she could tell her best friend Sophia that Jacob had actually just spoke to her. She was so overwhelmed by it.
