CHAPTER THREE: WHO KISSED ME?!
“Come here, you.” Niall hugged me from behind and then the photographer snapped a photo of us which I didn’t bother to smile in because I really don’t care anymore.
If only I could say ‘GET AWAY FROM ME’ right in front of the whole staff… but no.
I’d be ruined by then and be labeled as a ‘brat’ which I don’t really mind but hey, to think that I’ve come this far and just let these ‘jerks’ ruin it all for me.
“Okay everyone, that’s a wrap!” The photographer announced.
Finally! I immediately elbowed the blondie who’s sticking too close behind me.
“Ow!” He yelped.
“My bad.” I gave him a sarcastic apologetic smile.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t the girl who has been through a lot of hardships from us… how have you been?” Harry suddenly changed his expression.
“Did you miss me, kiddo?” Louis pinched my cheek.
“Uh, I though you guys didn’t recognize me?” Now I’m just plain dumbfounded.
There goes my last hope…
“Are you an idiot? How can we not recognize you?” Liam sighed.
“Also Harry had someone spy on you all this while.” Zayn blurted out which pretty much answered my question on how they knew about my whereabouts.
“You think you can ever escape us? Guess again…” Louis grinned evilly.
“She hit me on the ribs!” Niall let out his agony.
“Get over it, pork-chop!” Out of the five of them, I only had enough courage to bully Niall since he seems to be the most gullible one.
I gave him the nickname back when he was still chubby.
“Don’t worry, I’ll punish her for you later, Nialler.” Louis tried to comfort him.
What the hell? One minute they were all smiles just for show and the next, they’re this evil, vile creatures who’s ganging up on me behind the camera.
“This photo shoot, you planned this right?” I asked.
“Obviously.” Liam always had this ability wherein he can make people feel incredibly stupid just because he’s smart.
I hate him but not as much as I hate Harry Styles, the boy who cut my precious hair.
“I’m leaving…” I stated.
“No, you’re not.” Harry blocked my way, his tall body standing only an inch away from mine which I immediately retaliated from by stepping back in an instant.
“Dude, just let her slide this time. She’s busy and apparently, we are too.” Zayn was always the reasonable one, at least that’s what I think.
“Who cares?” They had a staring contest for a minute or two and then everything went black.
I thought I fainted out of remorse but then I heard a boy squeal… probably Louis or Niall.
“It’s just a black-out.” I heard someone shout, one of the staff maybe?
Now would be the perfect time to escape even though I couldn’t see at all so I started spreading my arms out in the open, hoping to grope a wall or maybe even the floor for that matter but instead, I found myself touching something else like a guy's muscular biceps!
Just then, I felt someone’s presence towering over me then that person held me by the shoulders.
The next thing I felt was receiving a smack on the lips which made me push that ‘someone’ away.
When the lights went back on, I frantically searched around for the culprit with a shocked look on my face and nearly had a breakdown when I slowly realized that those five jerks were standing the nearest to me.
Oh my God. What just happened?!
That was my first kiss, damn it!
Actually it’s my second but the first one doesn’t count either way since it was just an accident so… WHO THE HELL KISSED ME?!
“What’s the matter, Cher? You look like you’ve seen a ghost or something?” Zayn teased.
“To be honest, it’s far worse than that…” I blurted out, still in a daze.
“Cher, what are you still doing talking to these kids? I thought you hated them? Come on, we have to get going.” Marshall finally appeared.
Yes, I do hate them… BIG TIME!
“How’d the standing up to your former bullies go?” My manager whispered secretly to my ear so that none of them can hear what we were talking about.
“Uh, I think that I’m going to have to read the ‘How to be a Bully for Dummies’ manual if such book even exists.” I was desperate alright.
“What? That’s it! I’m going to teach you the basics of bullying since I used to be one as a teen. It’s on me, personal one on one trainings and stuff…” Marshall offered.
Now I’m feeling a little bit better.
I’m going to look into this whole new dilemma later and get to the bottom of it as soon as I can think of a way to catch the one who harassed me earlier in the dark.
As I was being dragged away by my manager, the five of them waved good-bye to me with devious, flashy smiles that only I knew what it really meant… more torture from now on.
And here I thought that I’ve finally graduated from being bullied!
What the hell did I do in my past life to deserve all this?!
Perhaps I’m related to Hitler?
