"Will you be my girlfriend?" Zayn looked up at me expectantly.

His question caught me off guard.

"I like you, Cher. It's pretty obvious and I don't know why I just confessed to you right now when I could've done it back in middle school." He added which made me gulp nervously.

That explains why he always sides with me when his friends would bully me back then.

"No." A single word escaped from my mouth. I'm not ready for this.

"What?! But you'll think about it, right?" He looked so hopeful that it made me say,

"Yeah, I will." I guess I have to figure out myself if I do feel something for this guy who is kneeling right in front of me so that I can give him a final answer soon enough...

I don't want to admit it but... I'm actually afraid of falling in love.

Always have been.

"It's about time we do your 'Sirens' music video shoot." Marshall announced.

"That sounds excellent!" I beamed.

"The concept of it is that you're an actual siren like in the myths who'll fall in love with a human boy..." Marshall explained.

"Cool! I've always wanted to be a mermaid! Does it have a happy ending?" I inquired.

"Uh, yeah. I guess since you turn into a human being at the end." He rolled his eyes.

Eminem doesn't really like happy endings... he's more into tragic ones which explains his music videos.

"So who will it be?" My manager asked.

"You mean my leading man in the music video? Can it be Leonardo DiCaprio? It would be like a parody of 'Titanic' wherein a mermaid comes out of nowhere and rescues him from freezing to death... or Johnny Depp? Like in the 'Pirates of the Carribean'." I suggested two of my hottest favorite Hollywood actors.

"Uh, no. We can't afford them since we're low on budget. It'd have to be one of the One Direction lads since Simon agreed that they'll do it for free." He had a poker face on.

What the?! Why do I ALWAYS have to be involved with those guys.

"How about The Vamps? I did feature in their music video not so long ago... can't they return the favor?" I asked.

"No, I already told those guys off. You won't be seeing them anymore. An anonymous tipper told me that two of them have the biggest crush on you so I had to get them out of the picture just like what I did with Emblem3... wouldn't want anything to jeopardize your career."

"You did what?! Then how come you aren't telling the 1D guys off?" I don't really want someone else to meddle into my own personal affairs and clearly he's being biased.

"Because they all say that they don't see you that way. You're more like a little sister figure to them." Little sister my ass! They're clearly denying it...

"Fine then! If it can't be anyone else then I'd choose Sharon to be my love interest instead. She'd do it for free anyway and besides, it's not that obvious that she's a she." I folded my arms stubbornly.

"That sounds... brilliant. It's a very refreshing and unique idea of love. I can imagine you and your obese dog romantically spinning around together! However, I already called One Direction over so that we can all vote fairly as to who will be your leading guy." I could tell that he was being sarcastic about my animal love affair idea.
