Chapter 13: Arlo - Alek - Alex

Arlo POV

After Killian went to sleep I went ahead and called the man who picked him up. He was glad to know he was okay. For as long as I've lived here, he's known to travel in the woods and explore but he said he got lost and wound up finding him. I asked him in which direction did he find Killian and didn't hold anything back. It was a few mile East and there's a trail that'll take me to the exact spot where a Killian was found.

Eli was upset that we were taking him home.

I'll ask him tomorrow if he wants to stay here, but I doubt he'll even consider it.

Eli was upset but knew as well as I did that he'd go anywhere along as it was with Lucca. The way Killian lit up when he mentioned and talked about Lucca was a person in love. He was a completely different person then what he portrays himself.

~The Next Day~

I was on my way to precinct with Killian and my kids who couldn't seem to control themselves when they were around Killian. Although they haven't shifted there's a faint obedience they show when they're around him. Once their wolves come they'll understand. It takes up my entire control to not bow my head when he approaches and several other gestures. I don't know why he has such power over me but I feel I'll soon find out.

I asked Killian to enter with me to the precinct and he obliged. The entire time we were inside the precinct he clutched my shirt from behind. So cute. He needed up growling at my coworker Brian. Brian  didn't push further on what Killian's problem was but let it go. Once we exited we went ahead to the woods and take Killian home. I'll finally get to meet the infamous Lucca and see what his whole deal is.

I'll be able to tell if he's a man who Killian should actually be around and if not then I would peacefully ask for Lucca to let me raise Killian in a sustainable home where he can grow as a normal kid. If worst comes to show then I would take matters to my own hands.

Hopefully that won't happen because Killian speaks highly of him, so all I can do is hope he lives up to Killian standards and needs. We exited the car and Killian showed us the way, about 10 minutes later he ran down south. We let him have his space but once we heard the howling I rushed to his aid. Alek and Alex were also concerned about Killian's safety. We heard him cry and worried. Once we reached to a huge oak tree we saw Killian exit and before he walked passed me he handed me a note. The note mentioned Lucca was searching for him and that if he was safe to return to the town he was in as he would soon find him.

I turned around and rushed to him while giving him a hug that he surely needed after that blow. I knew he really wanted to be beside Lucca at this moment but that time will come soon as he just needs to wait patiently for him. I said comforting words to him and let him weep. All I wanted to do was know how to make him feel better but I did know and that was Lucca. Eli and I wanted this whole problem to disappear but came to an understanding that Killian would stay with us and wait for Lucca's arrival.

We slowly walked back to the car and drove back home. We entered and he just stood by the entrance clueless as to what to do. I told him to thanks his bag back to the room he slept in last night then Alek and Alex soon followed after him.

I sat down in one of the kitchen chairs and processed what happened today while thinking what my next move was for the meantime Killian is under my care.
