~A Tad Strange: Part Four~

"Bill...?"

Your POV

I gasp as I realized it wasn't the blond I've been sobbing about, but rather a pale looking Will, eye filled with worry. "I-I mean, Will! You're ok!" I smiled, standing up and hugging him. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" "Well, Tad told me about everything, and I honestly didn't know visiting my friends would make you faint!" "What...? Faint? I don't remember fainting- or visiting your friends!-" before Will could finish, Tad burst through the bushes, his eye rapidly looking around before landing on us. "Will! Why aren't you in bed!?" Tad panted out, his face flushed. "Why would I b-" suddenly, Will stops, only for his pupils to grow bigger. "Oh- oh gosh I don't feel well." Will weakly stumbled to the tree branch by the lake, letting out a soft whimper. I walk up to Will, before picking him up bridal style. "Let's get you in bed." I hummed a tune as Tad and I walked through the forest, Will already passed out in my arms.

I sighed, flopping on the couch, before Tad shyly shuffles over to me. "Hey...(Y/n)? There's a carnival in town, a-and maybe you'd like to go there with me...?" I smiled at Tad, before letting out a hum in response, softly nodding my head. "Oh- wait really? T-that's awesome! Cool beans...!" I couldn't help but raise my eyebrow at the silly phrase "....cool....beans...?" Tads face flushes, stuttering an embarrassed response before running off, telling me he's gonna get ready for the carnival. I couldn't help but chuckle as I think about his flustered face. 'Cute...'

Tads POV

I groan as I try to control my blush, stumbling through the corridors to try and find my room. 'Stupid feelings... stupid perfect (Y/n)...!' I quickly step inside my room, slamming the door closed. As I search through my closet, I find a lilac button-up, together with some black suspenders. I hum softly as I grab a pair of black pants, and to top it off I grab a black bow tie.

Your POV

I lazily float off the coach, humming softly as I enter my room. 'What to wear...' As I search through my closet, I find (pastel colored outfit of your choice). I quickly put it on and twirl a little in front of the mirror, smiling softy. As I hear a soft knock on my door, I quickly comb my hair before opening the door. "Shall we, my lady?" I chuckle as I take Tad's arm in mine, before I teleport to the carnival. I can't help but gasp at the size and beauty of it, as the smell of popcorn and cotton candy fills my nostrils.

I laugh as Tad chases me through all the people, trying to catch up with me. I take a quick break from running, when suddenly a pair of hands covers my eyes. "Guess who~" a small giggle escapes my throat as I turn around, looking into his eyes. As he inches closer, I panic and quickly turn around, pointing at the merry-go-round. "How about you get us some cotton candy? I'll wait on the merry-go-round!" I quickly hand Tad a chunk of gold before speeding off to find the nicest horse to sit on. I smile as I see a cute, golden horse with blue details. The second I sit on the horse, the world goes grey.

"Wow, okay, finding you was way too easy." My eyes widen, before turning to the voice. It was a woman with brown skin and dark brown hair. She was dressed in a weird, peach colored outfit with golden accessories. "First of all, hun, I'm not a woman. I'm a demon. Gender can honestly fuck itself." 'What the hell? Did she just-' "Read your mind? Yeah I do that often. Anyway, enough with the chitchat. I was sent by your dad. He's throwing a huge ball and want you to be there." "Yeah right! My dad couldn't give two shits about me-" "Also your mom is kinda close to dying and he needs you to heal her. I should've probably mentioned that first." "Wait mom is dying!?-" "Yeah, I just said it you thick-skulled idiot! Anyway, I've got to go! Call me if you need anything."

They hand me a golden business card before disappearing, and the world gains its colors and movement again. I sighed, my mind spinning as I look at the card. It was a soft pink, with only an X on the front. On the back, there was a piece of Latin written, and at the end, I assume the name of them. 'Aurum'. The name felt familiar, but I couldn't place how and why.

Tad runs over to me, cotton candy in his hands. I laugh as he comes over to me, panting as he sits down on the horse that's closest to mine. "Are you alright?" I manage to say between laughs, as Tad basically collapses on the horse. "M'fine..." "Yeah sure you are. Anyways, thanks for the cotton candy". I grab it out of his hands, feasting on the soft cloud. "We were supposed to share!~" Tad whines. "Too bad then!" I manage to say between bites, earning a soft laugh from Tad.

I tiredly hum a tune as I sit next to Tad on a bench. "Hey, how about we go on the F
Ferris wheel? It'll be beautiful up there since the sun is setting." I softly nod, standing up and grabbing Tad by the hand.

As we stand in line, we make jokes about the people around us, giggling quietly. When we finally get to go, I step inside, expecting Tad to go in too.

Tads POV

As I see (y/n) step in, I smile widely. 'Maybe I can confess my feelings to her up there!' My thoughts get put on a stop when suddenly, someone steps in instead. I couldn't make out their face, but it didn't matter. "What the hell! I was supposed to go in!" I yell at the person controlling the wheel. "Real cute Tad, but I'm doing what's right. Shouldn't you go back to, I don't know, the underworld?" I freeze, as I look into their eyes, letting out a soft whimper. "Scram dude, you're holding up the line." They hiss, and I quickly run off. My heart is going a thousand miles per hour, as I try to wrap my mind about why they were there. Why was Aurum there!

Your POV

I looked out the window, humming softly. I couldn't help but feel Tad was a bit quiet. "Hey, are you alright?" "With you? Of course~" I freeze. Holyshitholyshitholyshitwhatthefuckitshimitshimahhhhhh??? I quickly turn, only to see the devil himself. "Did you miss me? Admit it, you missed me-" I couldn't help myself as I hugged him tightly, realizing I missed him badly. Oh so badly. "Well, I missed you too y'know..." I heard Bill mumble. Suddenly, the thought of that karaoke night swooped over me, and I quickly pushed him away. "Hey, what's wrong?" "Maybe EVERYTHING!?! You play with my fucking feelings, then you give a weak excuse and now you just show up, thinking I'll swoon for you!?" "(Y/n) that isn't why I'm here-" "You broke me, Cipher! You and your stupidly handsome face!" "Thanks for the compliment but listen-" "What you did that night was unforgivable-" "I love you!"
