Thalia POV

Fortunately, the flu didn't last as long as I expected. Ashton and I had been talking throughout the week, and the past couple days had either been spent with Ethan or my phone. Often, it was both. I would go out and do all sorts of fun things with Ethan, and then I would stay up to ungodly hours texting. Which meant that after I dropped Ethan back off at the airport so he could go home, I went home to basically pass out. Ashton, of course, had other plans.

Ashton: hey Thalia

Ashton: hey

Ashton: pay attention to me

Ashton: I have news

Thalia: Ashton I am so tired seriously I need to sleep

Ashton: okay okay but I have nEWS

Thalia: what is your news

Ashton: you can't tell anyone yet, but we're going on tour!!!!

Thalia: that's a lot of exclamation points

Thalia: wait wHAT

Ashton: we aren't doing any concerts in New Hampshire, but we are doing three in Massachusetts

Thalia: it's not too far

Thalia: holy shitballs I'm so excited

Ashton: we can meet!! You'll be in the front row and I'll be looking at you the whole time :-----)

Thalia: uh

Ashton: what

Thalia: you realize how expensive your tickets are, I went to your ROWYSO concert and I barely afforded seats on the side above the rafters

Ashton: haha babe I can get you tickets

Ashton: I didn't realize they were that expensive

Thalia: when is this happening?

Ashton: it might be a little while

Thalia: hOLD ON

Thalia: I THOUGHT WE WERE PAST THIS

Ashton: never ;)

Thalia: my eyes have rolled out of my head

Ashton: you know you love it

Ashton: call me?

Thalia: Ashton I'm so tired

Ashton: I didn't ask you to talk

So I called him, pulling myself into bed as I did. I heard him breathing. After a long pause, he quietly whispered "hi."

"Hey, Ash."

"Say my name again?"

"Ashton." I let out a breathy laugh as I spoke. He sighed into the phone. We'd called each other a lot when we both had the free time, and some of it was filled with constant conversation. Other times, like this, there was quiet. It wasn't exactly uncomfortable, though. Just knowing he was there helped.

"I'm tired."

"I know, baby." He said in a low voice. I heard other voices in the background. I groaned at the last word, and he giggled quietly.

"Hey, the boys are home, so I'm not gonna be too loud, okay?" I let out a soft "mm-hmm" in response. He started humming.

"My mum used to sing me all sorts of lullabies." I was falling asleep, so I didn't respond. "Want me to sing you some?" Still not hearing a response, he began singing quiet songs. He kept singing quietly, and just as I was about to doze off, I heard the final words to his song:

"Sleep so sound, know that I love you....."

A/N
Such a filler chapter it's not even funny. But we got some aShLiA aCtIoN aMiRiTe?? So, I'm trying to choose a cover at the moment. The one at the top is my current one, but I've been experimenting with different types of covers, so we'll see. I would love to hear your thoughts on what you like. I'm so sorry I didn't update yesterday, and I almost didn't update today, but I figured I should just crank something out. It's a little confusing when this is set, but I'm assuming right now is a little after sgfg was released. The tour is about to be announced, I think. Time might pass a little weirdly. Anyway, it's really late, so I'm going to bed. Love y'all :) xx
