Independence day consisted of a fun little song Quinn and Katie sung for our british friends (irish friend) and lots of cake and fireworks. Mine and Jesse's second kiss took place on the roof of the hotel (don't ask) underneath the beautiful explosions. So far, today, I had gotten up and played flappy bird. Jesse said i had to be ready by six, and to dress casual. So I ate some breakfast and played more flappy bird. Do not download flappy bird. It has ruined my life. It is satanic. I decided at four o'clock that it was probably time to get ready for the date, so I took a really long shower where I got out at five o'clock. Callie had picked my outfit for me while I played flappy bird this morning, so I was covered for worrying about what to wear. She had picked out a black skater skirt with a light blue top that said beach lover, a white lace bandeau, and my vans. I got ready, then I played flappy bird for another forty five minutes.

"NO!" I screamed as flappy bird hit yet another wall. "I'M GOING TO KILL EVERYTHING YOU LOVE, FLAPPY BIRD," I screamed again as I threw my phone at the wall.

"Whoa," I heard Jesse say from the doorway.

"Oh, hi," I said, quickly getting up and grabbing my phone from where it landed on the other side of the room.

"Hey," He laughed, sounding a little nervous at my strange behavior. "You look pretty," he said.

"Thanks," I smiled. "You don't look bad yourself."

"You ready?"

"Yeah, let's go." I was curious to find out where he was taking me, but i was more curious to see if i could beat my high score on flappy bird.

"Have fun, kids," Louis called after us as Jesse opened the door.

"Use protection," Zayn shouted, snickering. I flipped him off without looking up from my phone.

"Oh my god, Zayn," was all I heard Katie flirtily say before Jesse closed the door behind us. I put my phone away as we walked down to the car, asking him if he was going to blindfold me so I didn't see where we were going. He laughed and answered no, he wasn't that corny. Jesse sweetly opened the passenger door so I could get in, then ran around to the driver's side. After a bit, I couldn't resist, and pulled out my phone.

"What are you playing?" He asked.

"Flappy bird," I said after a moment.

"Is that like angry birds?" He laughed as he said this, probably at the name flappy bird.

"No, not at all." I answered. "I hate this game," I muttered to myself as flappy bird aggravatingly hit another fucking wall, making Jess laugh harder.

"How much have you played that today?"

"Since I woke up," I answered. "I must win." Flappy bird hadn't died in so long I felt like a pro. As if I'd jinxed it, flappy bird hit a wall. I waited a minute to see my score, then practically screamed. "I DID IT. I BEAT MY HIGH SCORE. I WIN. I AM THE TRUE HOMIE." I couldn't really tell whether it was amusement on Jesse's face or scaredness. "Sorry," I giggled, still overly happy that I beat my high score.

"It's okay," he smiled. "We're here."

"Already?" I asked as he parked, my eyes still fixed to the screen. I got out when he finished parking and stood by the car door playing the game. I didn't look up until I felt his lips on my neck, surprising me. He took my hand in his as he kissed my neck again, making his way up to my lips as I slid my phone in my back pocket. When he reached my lips, he kissed me long and soft.

"You ready now?" He asked, making me smile bashfully and nod. Still holding my hands,we walked to a cute little donut shoppe.

"Donuts?" I asked.
