Chapter two.
Sera pov

Today is my first day at senior year.
I'm not nervous at all, will nervous but not too much, specially with my good ability to hide my huge wings.
I just want to finish my high school and go as far as possible from my step mother and the hell of alife that I have . 
She is not my mom and will never be, I hate her very much, she keeps calling me names,  humiliat me in every way possible, she never touch me, but she always kill my hopes and spirit, I just can't get away because my dad also I have nowhere to live in and I can't afford rent for apartment on my own.
I work apart time job as a cleaner in a fancy reastorant to support my self a little since my step mother won't get me any thing apart from the food she cook.

My dad is a good man,  but he works all the time, he's a scientist,he works in pharmaceutical industry, sometimes I wonder if he still love me or not, well that doesn't matter any more I forgot the feeling of love and be loved.
I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my step mother call for breakfast.
I took my backpack from the floor and get down stairs to the kitchen.I grabbed an apple and bite it and left the house to go to school.

My mom was a nuclear scientist, she worked in a nuclear research lap when she was pregnant with me.
Some how _in her 7 month_ the lead shield in the lap cracked and she got irradiated. The damage that happened to her body was huge the doctors tried every thing to save her, but her injury was really bad, they could not save my mother only I survived.
After mom's dying dad got really desperate he get me a baby sitter. He at some point fell for her and married her when I was only 4 years old.
She loved me when I was younger, but when she gets angry she tells me so many hurtful things that broke my confident and killed my hopes, else than that she's not that bad of step mother .

I know it's short but it gives you an idea about sera's live.
