Congratulations to @JasminAMiller for guessing the song in the last chapter! I hope she likes this chapter as well as you guys!
I suddenly woke up with lots of energy. And no, this energy wasn't from being asleep for 10 hours. It was because I was going to make my YouTube video today! I got up and looked in the closet. I wanted to make a good first impression for my first YouTube video. I grabbed a white t-shirt with a rose colored scarf on top of it. I got some black jeans and put my red hair in a bun.
I went downstairs to have some pancakes. No one would be awake at this hour, at least my mom and Sam wouldn't. My dad would be at the the bank, so he's never home. I got some chocolate pancakes and went back to my room to finish eating them.
I closed my room door behind me so that the noise would be blocked off. I quickly finished up my pancakes and put the now empty plate on my brown side table. I looked at my clock. "8:00 AM" It read. I put on my black boots and headed into the music studio outside.
About two years ago, my dad used to be a music producer. He owned the business called, Brooks Productions. I still remember the instruments that I used to play with when I was in middle school. My personal favorite was the electric guitar. The studio hasn't been used in a few weeks because my dad moved into the banking industry. I hope the instruments still work.
I opened the bright red door and walked inside. The studio looked just how I remembered it from a few years ago. There was shiny, red walls surrounding the the black record system. I put my laptop on the desk and turned the system on.
It made a big ringing noise as I turned it on. I looked at the small window to my left. Thank god my family was still asleep. I didn't want to explain why I was in the studio at eight in the morning. I walked into the record room and looked around. The instruments were a bit dusty, and the microphone had to be wiped off as well.
I took a rag and cleaned the microphone, the electric guitar, and the drums. I tried out the drums first. I grabbed the drumsticks and very lightly tapped them on the drum head. Boom boom boom. The drums sounded normal, which was good.
I put the drumsticks on the drum head and went to get the electric guitar. I put the strap around my shoulder and put my fingers on the chord. I first tried the "A" note. It sounded normal, which was also good. I continued to try all of the notes. They all worked fine which was good because if not, I would have to pay for another chord, and that would be expensive.
I went back to the record system and got my laptop. I made sure to turn the volume down a little bit and to make sure it was on. I got back to the record room and closed the door. I opened the YouTube tab and waited for it to load.
The website popped up and I clicked on the button labeled Create a YouTube Channel. I did the normal instructions until I went to the YouTube channel name. I thought for a minute. What should my channel name be? It has to do something with my normal everyday life. If you count having a baby voice as "normal".
Let's see: Baby Voice? Nah too stupid. Your Average Victim? Eeek. Might be too dark. hm. I thought for at least three minutes until I found the perfect name. I clicked on the search button and typed in my new YouTube Channel name.
"Ms. Funny Voice"
I crossed my fingers. I clicked the "OK" button and waited. It accepted it and went into the YouTube workshop. Yes, the name fit me perfectly. I had a strange voice that no one could fix, and I don't think anyone would try to.
I then went to the music section and downloaded the song, "We Will Rock You" by the famous band, Queen. It soon downloaded and it was ready to go. All I really needed was the lyrics, the drums, and the electric guitar notes.
I grabbed everything I needed then realized something. If I show my face, Austin might see this and bully me harder. Or even worse, bully Alison more. Alison was my only friend. I didn't want her to share the same things I've been though. I had to save her first.
I searched the building for anything that might cover my face. Then I found it. It was a blue superhero mask with sparkles on it. This was a part of Sam's Halloween costume last year. He was going as Mr. Super, who really was a cartoon character in the show, "The Supers." He was the leader of the show and had every single power on earth. Don't know how it was a hit, but it was.
I grabbed the mask and put it on my face. I used my phone's camera to see if it covered enough of my face. The mask covered the area around my eyes and nose. This was perfect. I went back to the Record room and turned the camera on.
"Hello people of the internet, my name is Ms. Funny Voice and this will be my first video on YouTube. I hope you enjoyed watching and let's go!" I took a breath and stood behind the snare drum.
I took another breath and started to play the drums. Boom boom, boom. Boom boom, boom. I continued doing this until at least four measures in then I started singing. "Buddy you're a boy make a big noise playing in the street, gonna be a big man someday."
I kept doing this until I knew it was the guitar part. Luckily, there was no singing or drumming in this part. I stopped and took the guitar. It felt like a solo the way I was playing. I did the notes in the right rhythm and slowly started to stop.
"I hope you guys enjoyed the cover of "We Will Rock You" by Queen. Leave a comment, a like and subscribe if you enjoyed my content. I will upload every Saturday and have a good day guys! Bye!"
I quickly ended the video and went to edit it. The editing took at least ten minutes. I've been hearing rumors that it takes five hours to edit a video. I was thankful that mine took just a few minutes.
I uploaded it to YouTube and left the music studio. Of course I wouldn't get a lot of views right away, but it was still fun to make a YouTube video. Overall, I think I did pretty good. I felt a pride feeling inside of me. Pride was a good feeling to feel since I've never had it before.
I hoped the feeling would last forever.
