It was now Sunday, and I was bored out of my mind.
"Ugh, what should I do today? I already did my homework, and I already made my video yesterday," I said.
I had asked Sam earlier what he did when he was bored. He said that he would watch TV. No doubt that he watched that stupid superhero show. I sighed. Everyone was out of the house except Sam and I.
My dad was at work, and my mom was grocery shopping. I rolled out of bed and went on my computer. I watched some YouTube for a bit until Sam kicked my door open. Can't wait to get yelled at for that.
"ANNA THE TV IS BROKEN!" Sam screamed.
"Calm down Sam. Let me see it." I said calmly.
Sam was always like this. He thought something was broken, so he would yell for me or mom. Then, when we went to check it out, it wasn't broken. I hated that so much.
Sam ran to the TV and I walked to it. I checked over it, and nothing was wrong. The screen was black, but that was it. I pushed the on button, and the screen came to life.
"ANNA YOU DID IT! YAY TV IS ON!" I chuckled.
Sam instantly sat down on the couch, watching TV. I rolled my eyes and went back to my room.
I logged back in my computer and had an idea. I checked my channel to see if anything changed over the last 24 hours. Nothing yet. It had only 3 million views.
Wait, what?!
I refreshed the page again. It still said the video had 3 million views. This was not possible, no way. Someone must have hacked my channel.
Yeah, that was it.
It was possible too. A youtuber by the name LeafyIsQueer or something, got hacked by an anonymous user named PoddleCorp. What an awful name too. So the PoddleCorp gang hacked the Leaf guy's channel and that was that. Somehow, somewhere, the leaf guy managed to get his channel back.
Pretty cool.
So yeah, I got hacked. Great. At least, I think so, I mean if not, AWESOME! I just got 3 million views over the course of 24 hours! I practically started jumping up and down when I saw the view count. I was so happy. Of course, I didn't want to tell my brother that because he might mess with it. He can mess up my life, my self confidence, heck he could mess up my popularity! I won't let him mess with my YouTube channel.
I took a few deep breaths. I tried to calm down, but this was huge! It's even better when you never really felt this feeling. I've never really felt the happy feeling. So I was amazed as well. I heard the door open and my mom came out.
"Anna! Sam! Can you please help me with this?" I walked to her.
"Sure thing mom!" I said happily.
"Mom don't let her do it! Because she's weak. You don't want a weak Daughter do you?" Sam said.
There goes my happiness, down the drain.
"Sam! Why would you say that!? Anna's a strong girl!" My mom said. I know she said it, but I saw the real truth in her eyes.
She agreed with Sam.
She thought I was weak. Useless, a disappointment, a mistake. I looked at the ground. Would you say that if I showed what just happened mom? I didn't think you would. For once, I did something right, and you ignore it?! I told them that I was taking a walk outside.
She nodded, and Sam looked at me. I ran out the door to the outside world. I walked around the street, trying to calm down the anger bubbling inside me.
"Yo baby voice!"
Oh no.
Not him.
I turned around and saw Austin and his gang.
"What do you want?" I asked angrily.
"Whoa, calm down baby voice, we just want to talk." Austin smiled.
"Oh yeah? Why don't you talk to yourself, I bet you would enjoy that more." I snapped at him.
"Why would I talk to myself when I could talk to you?" I glared at him.
"Fine. What do you want Austin?" I asked.
"I just wanted to know why you were so excited earlier."
"You saw that?"
"Yep."
"Y-you spied on me?!"
"Not spying, more like seeing you more without you knowing."
I couldn't believe it. Austin spied on me. Spied on me.
He grinned. "So why were you excited Ms. Brooks?"
"It's not your business!" I yelled at him.
He thinks that I would just tell him my happiness!? He really is an idiot. I glared at him before I ran off to my house.
"Ha. Crybaby." Were the last words I heard before running to my house.
Am I not safe from my own home? One second I'm happy, the next I'm scared. No one's safe from anything.
And Austin is one of them.
