My Brother, The Fanboy

I woke up calmly for some reason. I never wake up like this, so I was confused, but I didn't really mind it.

I got out of bed and put some clothes on. I put on some ripped blue jeans, a black and white striped t-shirt, and a sliver necklace that had a few small diamonds on it. Alison gave it to me when we first met. She gave me it because, "If you ever feel lost or scared and no one is near you, look at this necklace, and it will give you a sense of comfort." I cried and hugged her the moment she gave it to me. Now, I wear it if I'm either feeling lost, or just for good luck.

You can guess what it's for this time.

I went downstairs to get some breakfast, when I saw Sam watching TV. "Good morning, Sam." I said, a little sleepy.

Sam nodded and went to watch TV, no doubt The Supers. Confused, I asked him why he watched the show in the first place. I had no reason why he would ever watch it. I mean yeah, he was young, and the show was meant for young audiences, but I just didn't understand it. I guess I wasn't young enough.

Sam just glared at me. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHY I WATCH IT?! IT HAS GOOD MORALS AND IT'S THE BOMB!" And with that, Sam ran to the TV. With a shocked face, I went upstairs to see how my video was doing.

I opened up my laptop and checked how it was doing. It now had 14 million views. That's awesome! I didn't think it could go higher but it did! With a smile on my face, I put on my black boots and headed outside, ready to make another video. On my way to the music studio, I wondered what song I should do next.

I opened the bright red door into the studio and walked to the recording room. I did a quick search for some songs I could do. One popped up called How To Be A Heartbreaker by Marina And The Diamonds. I listened to it and immediately wanted to do it. It had unique lyrics, and a great beat.

I printed out the music sheet and went to practicing. It looked like I just needed a regular guitar and a drum set. I went though the small closet that had all the instruments and found them. They were a little dusty, so I wiped them off with a towel. I decided to practice before I got the mask and started recording.

The song was about three minutes, so I was able practice quickly. I have to admit, the drums were a little harder than I thought. The guitar was easy because it was like the same three notes repeating over and over again as the background. The drums were a little hard because I had to tap my foot for the small bass drum the same time I had to hit the snare drum. But once I got used to the rhythm and counting the notes, I was just fine.

After about ten minutes I had practiced the song and made sure I did the notes correctly. I went to go get the mask from the storage room and put it on. It fitted perfectly like last time, so that was good. I went back to the recording room, took a deep breath, and closed the door. I put on the strap of the guitar and took another deep breath.

Anna, you can do this, you did it already, just a different song.

With that thought, I turned on the camera and started playing.

I hit the same three notes over and over again on the guitar until it was time for the vocals and snare drum.

"Rule number one, is that you gotta have fun." I started singing.

"But baby when you're done, you gotta be first to run." After I sang the pre-chorus, it was time for the chorus, so I sang a little bit higher.

"This is how to be a heartbreaker! Boys they like a little danger, we'll get him falling for a stranger, a player, singing I lo-lo-love you."

After I sang the rest of the song, I had to say a few things at the end.

"Thanks so much for watching guys! I hoped you liked this cover of How To Be A Heartbreaker by Marina And The Diamonds! I also wanted to address, thank you guys so much for 14 million views! I couldn't do it without you guys! Thank you and I hope you have a great day."

I waved then ended the video. It took me about five minutes to edit the video. Once I edited the video I uploaded it. With a smile on my face, I quickly put the instruments away and put my mask in the storage room. I cleaned up everything, turned off the recording room, and went outside.

I just loved being a youtuber.
