Damn his eyes.
Damn his voice.
Damn his personality.
Damn him being a pureblood.
Damn Him
I narrowed my eyes at him. Who does he think he is to demand such a thing from me. Pureblood or not he can fuck right off. I'm not in the mood.
"Well?" His voice rang clear of annoyance at my lack of response. I was in the process of trying to control my shaking and felt quite gross as the sweat poured off my skin.
"Why does it matter to you? Surly someone as prestige as you has better things to do with your time." I couldn't hold the bite back from my voice, and frankly I didn't care. I felt sick after that dream. Or was it a dream...? No. There's no way it was real. It can't.
Glaring was too much effort.. I looked down at my legs that were still covered by a white sheet. I couldn't help but scowl at the red blotch now staining the once bleached covering.
"Don't you dare talk to him like that you filth!" I haven't noticed until now but a platinum blonde woman stood to his right, a respectable distance away. Another groveling lap dog it seemed.
"Oh no, whatever will I do... The prince-lings little pet is baring her teeth at me....." I couldn't stop the giggle that bubbled up from my throat upon hearing her growl in anger at my comment. I slowly tilted my head towards her, clear amusement evident in my voice. However as I looked at her, I saw her anger subside for a second. Replaced by hesitation. Before quickly being engulfed in the Flames of anger and hatred.
I could feel the icy venom curl through me, daring her to say something to be unleashed.
"You little bitch! How dare you disregard him like he's some sort of trash. It seems that I'll have to teach you to respect your superiors!"
Snap
Glass exploded behind me, digging into the walls and floor with such force that they resembled daggers.
"Seems I'll have to teach you how to how to respect me again." His Grin. His stupid Grin!
I wasn't smiling anymore or maybe I was. The fear in her eyes was hard to read.
"Teach me respect....?" a chuckle burst past my lips, but it didn't sound right... Didn't sound sane.
"Children like you should be taught when to keep their mouths shut." slowly, ever so slowly I go up from the bed. Glass clattered to the ground as it fell from the blanket. I blinked and next thing I knew I had grabbed her throat and held her against the wall, slowly adding pressure as she dug her nails into my skin.
I brought my face very close to her ear, the frost from my breathe covering the edges of all her neatly brushed hair it touched.
"Listen here, wench. you're walking on thin ice with me... bring this up with me again and then even your pure blood prince won't be able to save you from the hell you would've brought upon yourself. Do I make myself clear?"
She struggled more and suddenly I felt hands grip my arms and pull me away. The culprit walked in front of me and stood protectively in front of the crumpled, gasping woman against the wall. I believe his name was Kain, and oh how pissed he looked.
Then it happened.
Kaname went to walk towards me, probably to "punish" me, when he stopped suddenly. His eyes narrowing.
My gut and leg had not fully healed, and as my powers awakened I realized my mistake.
He smelt me.
This damn blood of mine that marks me as a pureblood. After all of Rito's experiments he had managed to hide the scent, which is how none of his visitors ever found out what I was... Now though that my powers were back....
The scent from the first drop of blood that hit floor was a clear indicator of what I was.
And who I was for those who had smelt it before.
Kain's eyes widened, and I had the slight satisfaction to see the girl on the floor's eyes widen in shock as she gaped like a fish out of water.
I glanced back at Kaname to see his reaction.
"Remember me now, Kaname?"
