Ch. 5-"Emma's Heaven on Earth."
The little "social experiment" that had been Natalie's original plan was going... iffy. After about two weeks after she had came up with the plan, she hadn't made any real progress despite sitting with them everyday at lunch and talking with them in between classes. Sometimes to her it almost felt like every time she talked with them and hung out with them, she forgot about her plan. Today while sitting at lunch with them she was rather quiet, contemplating how she was going to try to actually and execute the plan.

'Perhaps trying to show them the way with all of them together isn't such a good idea,' she thought. 'They could pick up on it quicker and band together against me. But if I spent time with each of them individually however...'

"YO! Earth to Nat, are ya still alive?" Emma asked, using the little nickname that the group had come up with just a few days ago.

"Oh sorry, I spaced out, were you saying something Emma?" Natalie replied.

"Yeah actually, I was wondering if you wanted to hangout today after school? I mean, we haven't really spent any real time together."

"Well um, I have that Christian group thing after school and my mother's picking me up so..." remembering that today was Tuesday.

"Aww, come on, I mean, do you really wanna still go to that thing?" She pouted. "Last week you were complaining how you hated it so much, can't you just skip it?"

"But my Mother-" she started to protest but was interrupted.

"Look how 'bout this. You tell your mom that you're getting a ride from a new friend and my Aunt can drop you off at your house. You can just skip the whole thing, but she still thinks ya went as to it long as you don't tell her." Emma pleaded her plan and case. "I know you're not into lying and everything, but why should you be stuck doing something you hate so much? That's not really fair to yourself, don't you think? Besides there's some truth to that little story when you think about it."

'Well, it IS kinda true that I'll be getting a ride from a friend, but still if I get caught...' "Well,... what if I get caught?" she wondered aloud.

"Very simple, don't get caught." Liss interjected.

'Wait a minute,' she said as a brilliant thought popped into her head. 'Maybe I'm not going to that Christian group, but I'll be doing something even better! I'll be helping Emma see the light, this is not only perfect timing but the ends justify the means. Ultimately if I lie, it's for the greater good.'  "You know what," she started "why not? You only get to live once, right?"

"Atta girl Nat, that's the spirit!" She commented with a huge smile on her face. "I'll just text my Aunt and she'll know your coming along, just be sure to meet me at the front of the school." Natalie simply nodded her head in understanding. Emma then glanced up at the clock and informed everyone "Guys, we should clean up, we only got like two minutes. See ya after school Nat."

"Alright I'll see you later guys," she commented back. They all parted their ways and the rest of the school day went rather boringly but when the last bell rang Natalie couldn't help but get excited as she anticipated spending the afternoon with her friend, and getting a chance to shed some light on her point of view regarding religion. Once she got outside she immediately saw her friend and speed walked to where she was sitting. "So where's your aunt?"
