(General POV)

.....3 days later.....

     Natsu sauntered into the guild. Even though everyone was in the guild that day, it was completely quiet and not even the air dared to move. He poured himself into Lucy's seat and sat quietly for a moment laying his head down. Protect my princess, my butt. Luce doesn't need some stupid knight anyways, Dragons are better. He hasn't even made her feel better yet. What the heck is that guy thinking.

     "Mira" Natsu said breaking the silence. "Why was he here?"

     Mira stared at Natsu

     "You know who I'm talking about" he growled quietly without lifting his head.

     Mira looked sadly at Natsu, and he raised his head. "Lucy hasn't really been feeling like, Lucy lately. Loke has been coming here making sure she is okay every so often. She hasn't summoned any of her spirits in quite some time."

     "What" Natsu's head jolting up "Lucy loves her spirits more than anything why wouldn't she summon them" Natsu asked.

     Mira looked out at her fellow guild members, all of whom were quietly listening with a great deal of concern on their faces. Gray and Erza had slowly made there way up to the bar by now. With sadness building up in her eyes Mira continued. "Well if I understand what Loke said correctly, she's unable to summon them." Unable? Gray questioned to himself.

     "That's impossible shouted Erza, as if the statement insulted her. "Lucy is the strongest Celestial Wizard of our time, there's no way she wouldn't be able to summon any of her spirits!" Suddenly a warm golden light filled the room, and Loke appeared next to Mira. He adjusted his glasses and looked towards Erza, as if he was about to speak.

      "Yo Lion Cub" Levy looked in shock at the Dragon Slyer who had suddenly spoke up "If bunny girl can't summon you spirits, then what the heck are you doing here?"

     "Oh" Mira chimed in "That's because Loke, or Leo as he is known in the celestial world, is the leader of the zodiac spirits, he is quite strong. Given that strength and his strong bond with Lucy he is able to pass through his gate without having to be summoned." 

  "Even if she wanted to summon us, she couldn't." Loke interrupted "We've been protecting her when we can, and  trying to find any information that could tell us what's wrong or how to fix it. All we've been able to come up with so far is that the link between her magic and her heart is broken. In other words she doesn't have the strength or the will power to summon us anymore, not even Plue." As quick as Loke appeared, he began to disappear once more. As he began to fade away he looked towards Natsu his face strained with despair "She's dying, her life energy and magic are barely even a fraction of what they used to be." The guild members were quiet as Loke's words began to sink in, and suddenly they all burst with tears, disbelief and anger.

     Natsu jumped up on the bar inching closer to Mira's face. "Why did you let her go, you knew she couldn't summon her spirits! She can't protect herself Mira! She could die out there! Why didn't you tell us" he growled.

     Mira began sobbing, "Loke asked me not to, not until we could find out for sure what was wrong with her and how to fix it."

     "Natsu, we have to save Lucy!" Happy cried.

     Suddenly the Master appeared from his office. "Natsu, Happy, Erza, Gray! Find Lucy and bring her back to the guild immediately!"

     "You don't have to tell us twice old man." Shouted Natsu as he was heading for the doors.
