Lucy's Gone?

Meanwhile...

     (Mira's POV)

I really wish I had told someone about Lucy. I feel like this is all my fault. "Don't frown my dear, it's not your fault. Natsu was just upset that his friend is hurt. He considers every member of Fairy Tail his family." Master said as we arrived at Lucy's apartment. "This is it, correct?" He asked me. "Yes Master" "Alright then lets hurry inside." I unlock the door and let the master enter first before I do. I look around at her neat apartment, seemingly untouched. You would almost think that no one lives here. It's oddly inviting though. "Lucy's apartment is quite cozy, it's no wonder Natsu always breaks in." I say with sadness "Master we're here." I hear a soft voice call through the door. Then I see Wendy, Charle, Gajeel, Lily and Levy walk in. "Good, Good settle in over there. Natsu's team should arrive any minute.

     (General POV)

     "We're here master" Erza's voice  pierced through air.

     "Where's Lucy?" Master looked around the empty handed Erza.

     "Right here, I'm going to take her up to her bed." Natsu said sadly. Master following close behind the group as they head to her room.

     "Master, can Wendy heal her now?" Natsu asks sadly.

     "I'm afraid that not even Wendy's Healing magic can save her my boy."

     "What do you mean save her!? I thought she was just exhausted!" Natsu growled

     "She's dying Natsu." Master said tears falling down his face. "This is the only solution Levy was able to find, it's temporary but it will give us time."

    "What is? What do you me-" Natsu was interrupted by ten bright lights suddenly appearing in a circle around Lucy. Then each of her spirits appeared out of the light. Loke turned to Natsu sadness having completely taken over his face. "I'm sorry Natsu." He began to gently take off Lucy's clothes.

     "What do you think you're doing you pervert." Natsu growled

    "No Natsu, look at their faces" Erza said sternly before pausing "they're crying."

     "Crying?" questioned Gray

    Natsu looked at the other spirits, seeing the tears in their eyes. He looked back at Lucy who was now wearing a celestial world dress. "Why is she wearing that?" Natsu asked, tears falling as if he already knew the answer.

    "It's the only way, Natsu" Loke's face was filled with sadness.

    "Tell me Master when did she die?" Erza shouted tears swarming her eyes, having put the pieces together.

    "Die! She's not-" Natsu growled at the top of his lungs

    "3 days ago" The Master sobbed. Everyone looked at the Master in disbelief then back at Lucy.

   Suddenly her spirits began chanting a spell before shouting in unison "We will protect the Princess." A burst of a warm light engulfed the room. When the light disappeared Lucy was gone, a small heartshaped lacrima with a gold key tied to it lay in her place. Natsu picked up the lacrima and the key, which was like one of the ones she used to summon her spirits, except it had a crescent moon wrapped in a ribbon of flame. I've never seen this key before Natsu thought to himself.

     "Where did Lucy go." Happy asked

     "Come with me my children and I'll explain it all to you." The Master spoke steadily as he managed to stop his tears. Everyone came together in Lucy's Living Room

     "What's going on Gramps?" Natsu asked quickly.

     "I'm afraid that I haven't been completely honest with you my children" The Master closed his eyes "Loke came to me and informed me that he had had been sensing Lucy's life magic slowly draining. We tirelessly searched for answers and are still at a loss for a single one." He paused eyes still closed. "Mira knew some details, but only that Lucy hasn't been able to summon her spirits. It was I who asked Loke to keep this quiet, I was taking care of Lucy's rent anonymously so that she would be less inclined to go on jobs. I assumed that this alone would deter her from taking a job so I didn't feel the need to include any one else in what was going on. Loke came to me 3 days ago with a temporary solution and that's when I found out that she had taken a job and sent you after her." The Master opened his eyes and looked around.
