Meanwhile 3 days earlier...

Hmm I guess I've been wondering through this forest for quite some time, I should probably take this Tigress Eye jewel to the customer. This is only supposed to take a day, the client is probably going to be furious with me if I don't get back to them soon, not to mention how furious Mira is going to be when she finds out this job was only a one day job. I just need some time to myself though. Lucy thought to herself. I think I'll just sit down and take a break before going back. Lucy sat down and leaned against a large beautiful oak tree and begin to drift off to sleep.

3 days later With Nastu's group...

"Natsu why did you charge off like that, we don't even know where she is" Gray yelled chasing after Natsu

"I do I saw her job request."

"Yes Natsu, we do know where she was heading and what she was supposed to do but there is no guarantee that she has made it there or if she is already on her way back." Erza said sternly

Loke's bright light began to take form again seemingly chasing after them, when suddenly his body began to take shape as he ran along with them. "I think I can help with that."

"We don't need you." Natsu growled without even looking at him.

"Natsu you forget that I'm Lucy's spirit and I can find her no matter where she is."

"I already know where she is, I can smell her from here." Natsu stopped and looked at the group "She's in a forest on that mountain." Natsu turned and pointed to a mountain covered in trees and then took off running again Happy and Gray not far behind him.

Leaving Loke and Erza behind. "Hmph, I guess he doesn't need my help." Loke turned and looked at Erza "Erza, given that those two are running on pure testosterone, and you're the only one thinking level headed you should know. Lucy has fallen into a deep sleep, and I'm not sure if she will wake up. You can't let those two know though. I've already discussed a temporary solution with the Master, so when you find her take her to her home immediately. The Master will be waiting. My ability to cross the gates is fading Erza, along with Lucy's Life energy, after this I may not be able to come back until Lucy is better. Please tell her I'm sorry, I'm sorry that her valiant knight has failed her." Erza nodded and took off. "Please hurry Natsu." Loke whispered as he disappeared.

"Come on guys I can smell her scent this way. Natsu yelled as they ran full force into the forest.

"Hey I can see her guys, she's over by that." Gray shouts as he runs up beside her.

"Lucy!" Natsu shouts excitedly. He looks at her closely "Lucy, why aren't you moving."

"She must have fallen asleep." Erza says sternly

Natsu smiles "I'll just have to give ol' lazy bones a piggy back ride."

"Natsu you idiot, you would just wake her up, you have to carry her gently, like this" Gray growls, as he bends down to pick her up bridal style. "Wait what's this?" they bend down and look at what Lucy has grasped in her hand. "Is this her job request?" Gray asks.

Natsu grabs the folded up paper "There's something in it" He unfolded the paper and a bright orange and red jewel fell out. "What is this?" Natsu asked as he examined the small jewel closely.

Gray grabbed the paper and read it. "It's the jewel from her job!" He said in shock "She actually completed this job entirely alone."

"Well she did just have to find a jewel, Lucy is super smart so I'm sure she figured it out quickly." Natsu said proud of partner.

"No Natsu you don't understand, this jewel was guarded by a soul eating monster, that's an s-class monster!" Gray said with both shock and urgency in his voice.

"That explains her current state." Erza said wincing at the sight of Lucy's beaten body.

"Wow, she took on an s-class monster without magic, usually Natsu would have to swoop in and save her before she gets hurt." Happy said as he tried laugh.

Natsu brushed Lucy's hair out her face and smiled gently at her "You really have gotten strong Luce"

"Never ceases to amaze me how much she has grown since she first joined the guild." Gray said smiling.

"I know that any of us would have had a difficult time beating such a monster on our own, Especailly without magic." Erza smiled.

"Come on guys, lets get her back to the guild and to Wendy." Natsu said as he picked her up bridal style.

"No Natsu we have orders, we are to take her to her house, The master is waiting for us there, so lets hurry.

"Alright fine." Natsu said figuring Wendy was waiting there.
