"Fuck! It's all your fault !" I threw my hands up in frustration as I paced around the dining area.He just looked at me, seemingly lost in his thoughts.
"Why did I even do this?" I cried.
"For yourself, of course," he reminded me.
"Screw you, you set this up. Didn't you?" I stopped immediately and shot daggers at him.
"The hell, I did. Seriously? You're in more trouble that I am in right now. If I were you, I'd be worried about what I was gonna do."
"There's no way I'd be in jail. Goodness!" Both my hands were on my temple, thinking about how I could get myself out of trouble.
"I'm a freaking criminal because of you. Now, you're here. Making me a worse offender ."
"I am sure they would be here soon if you don't leave."
"Are you asking me to leave this place? You're... unbelievable! "
He walked towards me. Both of his hands landed on my shoulder, holding onto me tightly yet gently. He looked deeped into my soul until I came to a complete silence. Looking at our distance, I could only peer at him.
"Listen to me, wouldn't you?"
"Shut up," I whispered.
"I will ask someone to clean the mess I did without getting you involved. But we have to get out of here, now. Trust me, my parents will send a search and rescue team to look for me as well.
"How's that even rational? We both will get a penalty for that."
" Look, if I walked back in there, it'd all your fault no matter what. But, if we both disappeared, I can buy us some time and clean the mess I created," he stated, brows furrowed together, as if he was thinking about it.
"Let me think about it."
"There's no time to think. Quick, pack your bags now and we'll leave, " he finished. I grunted at his rationale.
My family was definitely going to find out about this once I walked in back to the rehab. The news will be out for the world to see since the rehab is a special place for people who have opulent lifestyle. The celebrities, athletes and those who carried lots of weights filled the rehab. I would definitely be regarded as a shame to the family, an embarrassment- like I wasn't before.
But, if I left with Caelus, everyone would know the real me, there would be so much trouble, I would lose all the good friends I have, just because I am a liar.
Ever since I arrived, I never once revealed my last name. I went by Adoni Elisavet, which were my first and my middle name.
If I was to be using Matthias, I would be treated by the society differently. Not forgetting, it would be easier for my parents to tracked me down.
No matter what I was going to do, my facade was going to be broken. It was only a matter of time.
"Fine. If that helps, I will do that." I sighed after further contemplating my idea.
"Alright. We only have half an hour. Be quick." He said, sitting on my couch as he did something with his phone.
I rushed into my room and pulled the luggage underneath my bed. I shoved everything I could from my wardrobe.
Both my hands quivered as I zipped the bag. Nerves was taking over my mind as to the reason I was going to be caught. Worse of all, for something I did not intend to do at all.
I took all the pictures of me, my friends and my family off the wall and put it in my backpack. Having my family's pictures there, it gave me a reason to fight- to show that I was capable of taking care of my own life.
Saying last final goodbye to my room, I left.
I landed in a thud as I bumped into a big, hard wall-like figure. It was warm and earthly. Stumbling back immediately, I realized it was Caelus.
"Why on Earth are you standing in my doorway?" I exclaimed, irritated.
"Just got out of the bathroom which happens to be next to your room." He said, as a matter of fact, pointing at the bathroom.
"Whatever, stalker." I shoved past him. Dragging my luggage into the living area, he followed closely behind me. What a gentleman, I thought.
I went to the kitchen to bring all the food- well, it's more like junk food. Never had I thought of abandoning them in the hands of the damn microorganisms.
I shoved each bags into my backpack on the counter. I sat on the counter while I was at it. His raspy voice stopped me from continuing my action.
"Why are you bringing all these? You can easily buy them at the airport," he pulled my backpack away and slung it on his broad shoulder.
God damn it. Look at how his muscle flexed at this action.
He caught me by so much surprise. My jaw on the ground explained it all. He was so relaxed while I was about to lose my mind.
"Why are you not freaking out? Looking at the position we are in right now? I'm on the brink of insanity now, for heaven's sake! " I exclaimed, frustration visible on my face.
"I see this coming. Don't you?"
"Screw you."
"We can talk about this later. Now, grab your bag and your passport. We're leaving." He was standing at my exit, waiting for me.
An abundance of profanities was coming out of me in my mind.
"I won't leave until you explain." I crossed my arm, standing across the room. Call me childish, this situation screwed me up so badly.
" I won't say this again, Elisavet. Let's go, or I'll make you." His eyes twitched under the light emitted from the wall lamp.
"Make me." I challenged him.
He walked towards me, stopping at a good short distance between us. Extending his hand, he picked me up amd threw me on his shoulder.
I gave him punches on his back as I struggled.
"Put me down, idiot!" He was walking towards the door.
Realizing that he was only ignoring me, I repeated again. "Caelus, put me back on my feet!"
When I thought he was going to put me down, he slapped my effing butt. For Goodness' sake, blood rushed to my face. I swore he was smirking by the sound of him.
"Caelus!" I yelled and with that, my legs graced the floor.
"You'd better clean this mess sooner because I despise you." I walked away from him, walking down the stairs.
He was coughing, sounding so fake to my belief.
"Of course, I would. It's not that I like you." He said badly.
As I was walking, I realised I forgot about my luggage and backpack.
"I forgot about my things. You can leave first, I will catch up with you soon." I returned to my apartment.
"No. I'll just ask my butler to do it later. Let's just go the the car now."
"Fine," I grumbled.
He had a tons of explanations to do later, I thought.
