Chapter 3: Running into trouble

"Wow Sting-kun! I've never actually been inside a town before!" (Y/n) squealed. She started running around the place and talking to random but nice people. "Sting, don't you think she's cute?" Lector asked. "Um, we kind of just met yesterday, so I don't really have an opinion" he said.

"But she is surprising" he said with a small smile.

As they were walking, a group of people came up to them. "What you got in your bag there, can be a huge fortune for us, kid. Hand it over" one of them said grabbing onto Sting's bag. Sting shook him off quickly. "Hey! Don't touch my stuff without asking!" Sting said. his fist lit up and he punched the dude in the stomach, resulting with him falling to the ground in pain.

"The boy uses magic! Get him!" another one of the men yelled. (Y/n) and Lector ran up to Sting.

"Whats going on?" she asked a little frightened.

"Just let me take on these guys, protect Lector, ok?" Sting said and looked back at the men running for him. The robbers noticed (Y/n) and Lector.

"Get the girl and the cat! We can sell them!"The lady robber yelled. Sting punched her and ran up to them. "I changed my mind. Run while I finish these losers off" he yelled. Then (Y/n) held the two close.

"What are you doing?!" Sting questioned trying to squirm out of the hug. A muscular robber was running to them. Once he jumped and reached for them, he went through them and fell to the ground.

"(Y/n)! What did you just do!?" Sting yelled. Then another lady robber approached them.

"I can tell that you use water magic, and the other has something to do with light" she said. The two looked at each other then back at the lady. (Y/n) let go of Sting and Lector. But once she did, the lady hit her with an orb like object. It exploded once it hit her and she fell to the ground. The lady smiled.

"Hey! No sneak attacks!" Sting yelled. He then shook his head and punched the lady in the stomach. She fell to the ground. He then ran up to (Y/n)."Are you ok?" He asked. "I think so...I just feel...weird..." she answered.

"Awe! Did those thieves get away?" a voice yelled.

"Ah...don't get mad!" another said.

"Hey look! I found them!"

"But their all knocked out already..."

"Saves us some time then"

"Aye!"

The voices started getting closer. It revealed five people and two cats. Sting seemed to recognize who they were.

"Natsu..." He muttered. Lector's eyes sparkled. (Y/n) laid there confused.The pink haired guy approached them.

"Hi there kiddo! What wrong with your friend here?" he asked Sting.

"Those guys that are knocked out right now tried to kidnap us, and sell us Mr. D-Dragneel" Sting said stuttering out 'Dragneel'.

"Yeah! We beat them tho, with our magic! But (Y/n) got hit and is now....injured?" Lector continued unsure about the last part he said.

"Let me heal her!" the girl that seemed to be Sting and (Y/n)'s age said. She scurried over to (Y/n) and started her healing magic.

"Wait, you use magic?" the blonde haired girl asked. Sting nods. "Yeah, Both me and (Y/n) use dragon slayer magic!" Sting said proudly. This caught the pink haired guy and the blue haired girls attention.

"Your dragon slayers!?" They yelled in unison. Sting noted his head really fast. Before Natsu could start pummeling the two with questions, the scarlet haired women punched him in the stomach.

"Your going to scare the poor kids" she said. All of the people behind her smiled weakly.

"Sorry Erza...Lucy....Help me please" The one known as Natsu said. And the blonde girl that seemed to be Lucy helped him up.

"Oi, Wendy, how is the girl?" the raven haired guy asked.

"She seemed to be hit with a small lacrima..." The girl known as Wendy said.

"Uh...whats that?" (Y/n) asked.

"A lacrima is a magic crystalline substance that can give you magic power" a white cat said. "So now your able to use two types of magic."

"B-But whats the other one?" (Y/n) asked.

"Let me see if Im corrected...Natsu, mind if you stand far away?" the white cat said. Natsu does so.

"I wonder whats going to happen...." Lector mumbled.

"Ok (Y/n), grab Natsu from here" The lady cat ordered. She nodded. She reached her arm out, and it turned into water, and stretched. Her arm grabbed Natsu from a far.

"Ah! W-What the f-fudge?!" Its c-c-c-coooollld!" Natsu yelled shivering.

"Thats creepy..." The ravenette said. "Why? Because it reminds you of Juvia a little?" Lucy said. "Hey, Juvia can't stretch her arms like that" he answered.

"Stretch magic!" Wendy said clapping her hands together. Sting watched her bring back Natsu surprised. Once she brought him back, she dropped him and Natsu was left soaking wet. "Sorry!" (Y/n) said running up to them. Natsu put a thumbs up in the air, but it slowly turned into a thumbs down.

Later...

"Thanks guys!" I hope we could see each other again soon!" (Y/n) said with a smile across her face.

"Bye Sting, Lector and (Y/n)! The Fairy Tail wizards yelled. After that, there was a silence. Until Sting spoke up.

"You should probably not use your magic to often, you might hurt yourself because your still young" (Y/n) nodded. "So are you, Sting" She said giggling.

"Yeah, I know, but still, me and Lector don't want you getting hurt because your our buddy!" Sting continued this time, with a smile. (Y/n) smiled back. They continued to walk to the guild.
