Remembering (A Sting X reader story)

Chapter 5: Different

It has been 4 years ever since (Y/n) has joined the guild. And when Sting has met her. Sting has been getting powerful over these past years. But (Y/n) was holding back because she seemed to still be to young to handle her magic. A new girl has also joined the guild at the time, that goes by the name, Malanna. (Y/n) has became close friends with her, but her and Sting's friendship has started to drift away.

"Hey (N/n)" Malanna called.

"Yes?" (Y/n) answers.

"Why don't you talk to Sting anymore?" Malanna asks.

....

"Because..." (Y/N) answered.

"Because...?"

....

"He has new friends now...he doesn't really need me.." (Y/n) answers.

...

"But weren't you guys really close!" Malanna yelled.

...

"We used to be close...key words...used to be.." (Y/n) says/

"What happened?" Malanna asks.

"The guild changed him.." (Y/n) says with a straight face.

...

"You can at least say hi to him, right?" Malanna continued to ask questions.

"I guess..." (Y/n) answers.

"Ok, then lets go!" Malanna pulls (Y/n)'s hand. But (Y/n) had a very unsure look on her face.

"Malanna, I'm not sure if I want to.." she says. But Malanna didn't listen and kept going.

With Sting...

Sting has made new friends. With Rogue, Yukino, Frosch, Orga, Rufus and Minerva.

"I've been thinking, we should kick out all of the weaklings in our guild, they'll would only be bringing our guild down.."
Said Sting. They all nodded in agreement.

"Speaking of weaklings, here comes one now" Rogue says pointing at (Y/n) walking nervously up to them.

"H-hi..." She said. There was a silence.

"What do you want?" Sting asked looking irritated.

"I just wanted to say hi.." (Y/n) answers.

"Of course you did..." Sting replies putting his hand over his face. "I'm sorry, I can't talk to people like you".

"What do you mean?" (Y/n) asks. Sting glares at her.

"Your weak, you don't deserve to be a part of the most powerful guild in Fiore" he said with a cold look in his eyes. "Now leave, both you and your trashy friend. And never, come back." He finishes. (Y/n) walks away from them having mixed feelings. She pulled Malanna with her out the door. She stormed away, the emotion in her eyes gone. She went all the way to the forest unknowingly letting go of Malanna and leaving her behind. (Y/n) made it all the way to a lake, deep, inside a forest. She knelt down and stared at her reflection.

"How could anyone be like that...towards their own guild mates..." She mumbled. Tears were threatening to fall down her cheek, but it didn't happen. "No! I can't just sit here and cry! I need to train and become more powerful!" She yelled. 

Mean while in the guild...

Malanna went back inside to give the members a piece of her mind. When she looked at the table, the group was just laughing and congratulating the blonde jerk. Sting had a cocky smirk splattered across his face. "Why did you do that?!" Malanna yelled.

"She's weak" Rogue answered simply.

*smack!*

Malanna has slapped Rogue across the face. "I can't believe I joined such a terrible guild...I'm going on a quest.." She mumbles and walks away.

Back with (Y/n)...

(Y/n) was practicing her magic. "Ughh! I'm six-teen now! I should be able to handle my magic just fine!" She yells. "Water Dragon: ROAR!!" She yelled. The water blasted into a few trees, that are now obliterated. "Ok...". She raised her hand up in the air. The water from the lake followed. She put two hands in the air. The water suddenly  turned into a giant wave. She smirked. "All I have to do now is fix a few things here and there...".

(A/n):
Weeeeeeell. That was the end of that chapter. Lol there was so much dialogue I know, I'm sorry. Also, here's a little back story on this book. I've been writing it ever since August 2016. And like, I wasn't the best writer then lol. So uh, I'm trying my best to make it sound better then how it is in the book lol. Anyway, Sting and the rest of the Fairy Tail characters do not belong to me. They belong to Hiro Mashima~~~. And the picture at the top is not mine, so credit to the creator. Natsu is beautiful, isn't he?
