Short chapter but it's a happy one😊😊

The first month of therapy was hard. Scott would cry himself to sleep every night. Mitch would hold him and whisper sweet things in his ears. That first month was hard though. Scott was frustrated and felt angry that he was feeling sadder. Mitch didn't know how to help but he was always at his side.
But the slowly but surly things started to get better. Mitch started to notice changes in Scott. Mitch would wake up to Scott making breakfast or even something as simple as taking a nap.
Mitch knew things were changing when he came home from Avi and Kevin's. He was unlocking the door when he heard what he hadn't heard in a long time. His laughter.
He opened the door and almost cried tears of joy at the sight. Spongebob was playing from the tv and Scott was buckled over the couch laughing loudly at something that was happening in the show.
He closed the door behind him and Scott looked up at him briefly before returning to laugh, "I forgot how funny this show is." He said breathlessly.
Mitch's eyes filled with tears and he sat next to Scott smiling widely. Scott calmed down a bit and told Mitch the scene that made him laugh so hard.
"What's wrong?" Scott asked his mood turning to serious immediately. Mitch shook his head smiling.
"No no nothing! I just missed your laugh so much." Scott relaxed a little bit a blushed. "I also missed your blush. You're very cute when you're flustered."
Scott blushed even more covering his face. Mitch smiled and scooted closer to him. He grabbed Scott's wrists lightly and moved them away. He looked into Scott's eyes.
"Your eyes are so captivating." Scott smiled and caressed Mitch's cheek with his thumb.
"I could say the same about yours." He said almost whispering. Mitch smiled and looked down to Scott's lips.
Scott smiled when he saw Mitch's eyes flicked down then back up. "You have laugh lines. I'm happy you didn't loose those." Scott blushed again.
"Me too." He whispered before his own eyes flickered down to Mitch's lips. Mitch smiled and leaned in slowly, giving Scott the option of pulling away anytime he wanted to.
Scott missed his lips too much to wait any longer. He closed the gap between them quickly. Scott felt butterflies explode in his stomach. He felt a rush of happiness and he pulled Mitch closer.
He never wanted this moment to end. It only did so the two could take a breath. Scott rested his forehead on Mitch's breathing a little erratic.
"I love you Mitch. Thank you so much for saving me." He whispered before capturing his lips once again.
