      "May I have this dance?" Scott asked dramatically extending his hand as the others backed up so they had a mini little dance floor in the sand. Mitch giggled and nodded taking his hand. Rose Gold started to play and Mitch smiled. He smiled at the memory of them writing it as Scott wrapped his arms around his waist slowly swaying to the beat. Mitch wrapped his arms around his neck and looked into his eye lovingly.

       "Remember when we wrote this song?" he asked and Mitch nodded.

       "You know we started writing it when he started showing the signs of being abusive." he informed him and Mitch frowned looking at him sadly waiting for him to continue. "I just ignored it and spent more time with you even though he hated it." Scott chuckled sadly before looking up at Mitch.

        "You saved me. You saved me so many times in small ways all throughout that dark time. And now when I listen to this song, I think about the beginning to the epic love story that is ours. The heartbreaking, healing, crazy, love story that is ours." Mitch's eyes filled with tears as he took his bottom lip between his lips. 

         "I love you so much." he whispered before moving his hands to Scott's chest before leaning closer to kiss him gently. Scott pulled him closer as they continued to sway slowly to them and their best friends' voices. 

        They pulled away and Mitch rested his head on Scott's shoulder closer to his neck. Scott ran his hands up and down Mitch's back soothingly. The song ended and they're dancing slowly came to a halt but they stayed close until they heard clapping erupt in their group of friends. 

       They slowly pulled away smiling before they kissed again slowly and gently. When they pulled away Avi and Kevin were approaching them. "Not to interrupt but, Mitchie?" Avi asked extending his hand. 

       Mitch giggled taking his hand and smiling over his shoulder at Scott as Avi took Mitch a few steps away to start dancing to the next song. Kevin looked at Scott with a smirk before extending his hand and bowing dramatically. Scott laughed loudly and took his hand. 

       Kirstie and Jeremy entered the floor and so did Esther and Darien dancing along beside them. Avi smiled at Mitch and spoke gently, "I'm so happy you guys are finally happy." 

       Mitch grinned before giggling, "Don't say that to Scott, his superstition that something bad will happen will only get worse with that comment." Avi laughed and looked over at him with his husband smiling sadly.

       "He's really been put through the ringer huh?" he said before looking over at Mitch who nodded frowning slightly. "You both have."

       Mitch looked over at Scott and sighed, "He's been through a lot worse." he whispered quietly.

       "Maybe but it doesn't make it easier for you. You guys saved each other and I'm so proud to be friends with such strong people. You guys made it through hell and back and I'm so proud of you." he said Mitch looked back at Avi with tears filling his eyes yet again. 

        "Avi, " he whispered before hugging him tightly, "I love you." he said before pulling back.

       Avi smiled before spinning him around quickly, "I love you too, Mitchie." they swayed silently for a moment before the song ended and they switched partners. 

        Scott took Kevin's hand and swayed slowly with a grin on his face. "Thank you for coming Kev." Kevin smiled nodding.

        "Of course, Avi and I wouldn't miss it for the world." he smiled and Scott chuckled lightly.

       "I'm surprised you two tied the knot before all of us." he said and Kevin laughed.

        "Well it didn't take me long to realize I wanted to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Yeah it was confusing at first because I really thought him and I were both straight but once I knew... i knew..." Kevin explained looking over at Avi.

        "I think you knew about everyone else too. Esther and Darian, Kirstie and Jeremy, Mitch and I..." he said and Kevin laughed shaking his head.

       "I guess that is true. I always knew you and Mitch would end up together I just had no idea how it would happen. I obviously didn't know that it would happen like this, through so much heartbreak and loss. I really wish it was easier for you two." he said truthfully and Scott nodded looking over at his husband with tears starting to well up in his eyes.

        "I'm so fucking happy with him. I am. But doing stuff like this is so hard because there are two very important people who aren't here and my heart aches that I can't share this moment with them." he sniffed and let a few tears drop as they continued to sway.

         "Mitch can't have a dance with his father. I can't  with my dau-" he stopped and rested his head down on Kevin's suit before shaking his head and lifting his head. "Nope I'm not doing this. I'm not ruining our night or crying on your thousand dollar suit." he chuckled sadly along with Kevin.

         "Scott, you are an incredible human being and I am so blessed to have met you and shared as much of my life as I have with you." he said seriously and the tears started to pour out again.

         "Dammit Kev, " he said sniffling and wiping his face with one hand, "I was trying to stop crying." he said and Kevin laughed rubbing his back.

        "Sorry man," he said as the song ended.

         Avi and Kevin spun the married couple so that Mitch landed in Kevin's arms and Scott in Avi's. "Why hello their bass man." Scott greeted as they started dancing slowly. 

         "Did my husband make you cry?" Avi asked laughing as he saw Scott's red puffy eyes. 

        Scott laughed and nodded, "He was just being really nice and I'm super emotional all the time now." he said and and they both laughed. 

        "I was telling Mitch this earlier but I wanted to tell you as well. I'm just so proud of you guys and how far you've come. I'm so proud to be friends with such strong people." he said and Scott, of course started to tear up again.

         "Thank you." he said before laughing, "Okay I'm done crying for the night." he said sniffling and Avi laughed.

        "Oh please," he said, "You haven't even talked to Kirstie yet."

Thank y'all so much for reading this story even though the last few updates were so fucking slow! But yeah thank you guys so much for reading this story! I had a lot of fun writing it even though I've had the worst writers block while doing so... but yes thank y'all so much! I love you guys!
