Jemma's eyes started to water as the flashback ended.

Woods... Robin Woods...

Just thinking about her name made her heart drop. She was somehow grateful Robin didn't know her real name but at the same time guilty for what she did. She admitted she has developed feelings towards Robin but she knew it's the worst decision she made. It's getting cold so she went back in the house and checked on Robin. She silently opened the door and looked at her. There she was, sleeping soundly. She wanted to walk in the room and check on her fully but resisted the urge. She was about to close the door until she mentioned someone whom she didn't want to hear.

"Jackie..." Robin mumbled.

Jemma's heart froze as she distinctly heard that name.

She held onto the door knob hard as the name 'Jackie' replayed in her head. She was confused at first because it's been years since she felt those type of feelings. She wanted to kill her for bringing it up but at the same time explain everything to her. Jemma was lost in her thoughts until it broke by the movement made by Robin.

She jolted up, panting and looked around. Her eyes locked on Jemma's which made her froze into place. She obviously couldn't run away, now that she's aware that Jemma was in her room. "Oh... how long have you been standing there?" Robin asked.

"I-I heard noises coming from your room so I had to check since that noise disturbed my sleep." Jemma lied.

"I-I'm sorry..."

"Hmph... Y-you should be. Now we're both awake, let's make breakfast." Jemma immediately turned around and went to the kitchen.

Robin then followed her all the way to the counter where she could see Jemma finding the ingredients for their breakfast. Robin felt like Jemma wasn't herself today but she decided to drop the topic. That was when she realized that she respects Jemma, even though she killed more than 50 people in a year. Robin felt like a new feeling has risen from the depths of her heart. She never expected to have that feeling visible again until Jemma got close to her. However she needed a lot of time to think and confirm her feelings.

"Breakfast's ready..." Jemma said in a monotone voice. Robin followed her to the table and sat. Jemma sat too and began digging in. Robin unexpectedly smiled as she chewed pancakes covered with maple syrup,"Your dishes are very delicious..." Jemma looked up at her just in time to see her smile which made her heart flutter.

"Thanks, I guess?" She mumbled. She has to say something. She doesn't want to have a silent breakfast, "You're suddenly silent." Robin stated out loud and looked at her. Jemma raised an eyebrow, "W-what? Can't I just have my breakfast in peace?"

Damn it, stop stuttering.

"You know... Your face is very predictable today. Something's obviously bothering you..." Robin said with concern.

She snorted, "Since when you're concerned about a criminal like me?" "Have you developed feelings towards me?" She teased.

Robin's eyes widened when she heard 'developed feelings'. She tried to conceal her feelings but her sweat gave it away. Jemma smirked so she faked a gasp, "So... you DO like-"

"DEFINITELY NOT."

"Naughty, naughty girl, liking a criminal like me," She purred.

"I said I DON'T LIKE YOU."
