Till We Meet Again

Ch.16

"Damn. They found us." The businessman muttered. Lea and Jemma looked at the door and glanced at each other. They were close to bargain until the door knocked down. Immediately the businessman got shot in the head by Leon so the two took the blueprints and leapt out from the window.

"Woods!"

Leon looked at Robin and she nodded. She leapt out from the window and chased after them. Behind was Leon so he could back her up. Robin never felt so alive and fast. Her crave for them was over the top so she got the endurance to jump over buildings. Then they went down to an alleyway which the two didn't know that there was a dead end. The only way was over the fence but they're too tired to jump and climb. However they still did it but they stopped when they hear a gun click and panting.

Robin was aiming the gun at her while panting. Lea looked at Jemma and nodded. Jemma and Lea went down and faced Robin. They took out their weapons and started attacking her.

Robin let out a breath, dropped the gun and defended herself. Robin was capable of dealing with strong opponents but she wondered why she wasn't able to knock her down at the last encounter?

Jemma was showing a face of insanity and anger and yet her feelings were showing depression and shame. She couldn't stop but internally apologize every time she managed to hit her. They had to stop for a while to catch their breaths so they staggered back at the opposite side of Robin's and tried catching a breath but at the same time Robin quickly grabbed the gun from the ground and an extra gun from her belt, aimed them at the tired two.

"I can't let you escape once more. I'm done with you."

She tried pulling the trigger but she couldn't, her body stopped cooperating.

Then an imagination crossed her mind. She could imagine Jemma's and Lea's bloody body on the floor. She couldn't stop imagining it. Her whole body began to shake and her eyes were watery. Then slowly broke down and fell on her knees. Jemma wasn't surprised that she broke down so she gestured Lea to climb up.

Until...

"We got her!"

She was rushed to the hospital with the bullet still in her rib area. She was unconscious when she was in the ER. Robin stood there just staring at the room where she's going to survive from her bullet or die from it. Robin pat her shoulder and smiled.

"You did it because of you, we have captured Steele and Hawkes." He chuckled,"Well... let's just hope Steele didn't die from that bullet. Anyway congratulations."

"Thanks... " She muttered and smiled a bit. Leon raised an eyebrow, "What's wrong? You finally shot down the girl who killed your parents."
